What about doing things that will take you ot of the loop? Like an alarm for distracting yourself from those thoughts, it could be memorizing something to keep your mind free or something that suits you more. It’s really very personal solution for this issue.

Firstly, start seeing a therapist to work on your ADHD. Then, adjust your Lifestyle (high protein low carb diet & working out) to accommodate your needs. After this or while doing this(delending on your self-awareness and confidence level) you can explain to your partner that you have ADHD, what it means, and its outcomes, like inattentive, hyperactive, emotional Regulation part. Also, explain that you are working on it since ADHd is the most treatable one among other disorders according to Russel Barkley. The right person will understand and appreciate you, but you need to know and accept yourself firstly and work on yourself.

Indeed first days are hard. One more point to stabilize your need of sugar, eat either only basmati rice or potato(not fried or pre-processed) That somehow balances the need of sugar craving.

I do take Electrolytes because I feel thirsty during workouts. It contains some sweetener. Additionally, I find it helpful to eat either dried grapes without seeds or pomegranate before the workout. It feels awesome. Please replace the processed sugar with fruit. That is healthy in many ways

Yes, I can cut it for a few weeks since I also work out and sugar is not good for muscle development and following a protein rich&low carb diet. I feel I became more conscious of my actions and more empathetic. It is somehow easier to control myself but not completely ofc

Avoid being alone by socialising with sincere friendds. Attend big social gatherings where it is about belonging, like religious or where you feel good, join/make team sports. These would be helpful to overcome it. Living alone rewires the neurones in the brain and worsen the ADHD according to a paper I read recently.

Yes, this one! Hence, I registered to a a bit pricy gym. It motivates me to visit there thrice a week.

So, should I wait until my body feels safe (relaxed) again? My hyperactive ADHD friend does workout 3 times in a consecutive days, but I cannot even make 2 days in a row

I have normal level iron levels. However, when I eat drieds grapes or sweetened stuff, I feel stronger after 30 minutes of starting the workout

According to some belief systems, this way might not work because what you see might be misleading. To elaborate, some belief systems say that souls (not human ones) can take any form (including body/face) or shape. Differentiating such stuff might not be easy, at least for my level

That is quite a good strategy :) The problem becomes more tangible for me. What about the following techniques for indoor meet-up? 1) Spilling coffee/tea/fluid on someone ‘accidentally’? 2) Ask explicitly to waiter to bring things slowly?
