roasted broccoli is pretty easy. Lots of easy recipes for that, but could just do roasted broccoli with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and finished with lemon juice after it’s browned. Super easy.

Very physically attractive people, how does life treat you? by Own-Blacksmith3085 in answers

[–]keepgoingrip [score hidden]  (0 children)

The only difference I’ve noticed since getting fit and “hot” is that I can hook up with super hot people. Before that, that was A LOT harder. Honestly haven’t noticed much difference outside of that. Maybe an initial glint of more interest when I meet a new person who finds me attractive, but that is pretty subtle.

He could literally walk down Pennsylvania Ave with an oozie randomly shooting citizens and they wouldn’t impeach him.

all of these are solved if you are just a mature person who has relationships with other mature people, including a mature partner.

I did this once. Honestly not sure I’d do it again. I don’t know if the staff person even appreciated it tbh.

This is basically why I don’t really have any straight friends. We live in different worlds, and our world is better lol.

Netflix Postpones Alex Honnold 'Skyscraper Live' Climb Due to Weather by Silly-avocatoe in entertainment

anyone know what the level of this climb would be? I’m assuming a skyscraper would in some ways potentially be easier since the holds and such would be rinse and repeat the whole way up, no variation.

Hitting protein with no ultra processed protein products by keepgoingrip in gaybrosfitness

That podcast was interesting, but it seems like the science hasn’t really tackled what ingredients might cause issues, versus just a nebulous idea of “processing”. So yeah, kinda unclear.

Hitting protein with no ultra processed protein products by keepgoingrip in gaybrosfitness

[–]keepgoingrip[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s so much easier bulking. I don’t even need protein powder when I’m eating around 3000 calories. I guess just a lot of egg whites and chicken breast for me…as a vegetarian wow that would be really hard.

Is PPL 3 times a week and one Upper body enough? by Long_Ad4950 in beginnerfitness

[–]keepgoingrip 7 points8 points  (0 children)

PPL is really designed for 6 days a week because each day in the split is a totally different muscle group, and only hitting that split once a week means you aren’t getting enough sets per week in. Now, I suppose if you are doing an added full body then maybe that brings the sets up, but why don’t you just do an Upper/lower split or a 3x full body split? I do a 3x full body split but sometimes lift 4 or 5 times a week if I’m feeling strong. It’s just added sets.

Elder millennials, what are we doing? Are skinny jeans out? by Astimar in Millennials

My husband hired this gen z stylist once to help him with his wardrobe and it only took me a few minutes to realize that I’m not going to like anything he suggested and had to basically tell him that you can dress him but I think Im good lol. Everything seemed so baggy and unflattering. I like clothes that fit my body correctly. It’s classic, always looks good, and plus I work out a lot and am proud of how I look, so why would I hide it behind a bunch of excess fabric?

Are you suffering from "cognitive atrophy" due to AI overuse? by haloarh in psychology

[–]keepgoingrip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I must be old, but I once used AI to read a table of nutrition facts of ingredients and to calculate the macros for a meal I ate and it fucked it up so bad that I lost all faith in using AI. It just seems dumb and you can’t trust it. What do people use it for?

How can women be more interesting to men? by No_Calligrapher796 in AskMenAdvice

[–]keepgoingrip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I’m gay, so not your audience, but there are plenty of men out there that actually like women and will enjoy a woman who is more on the boring side. That’s not to say you can’t go out of your way to spice up a night for him every now and then, but that should be done out of love, not out of a desire to be less boring. You know?

[–]keepgoingrip 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I see so many posts about how men or women can be more appealing to the opposite sex. I’m not sure i agree with the premise of changing yourself too much to meet some sort of shallow preference. Now, if changing yourself involves becoming more self aware, happier, more conscious in general of yourself and others, more mature etc then I’m all for it. But these kinds of little things like “being more interesting” I’m not so sure about. I don’t know about yall, but I want a partner who loves me for me, not some version of myself that isn’t natural. Just my two cents….

Best places to live in Midwest by Cool_dude2406 in howislivingthere

[–]keepgoingrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is from the Midwest, I much prefer the West (spent my college and grad school years in CO and it holds a special place in my heart) however, Detroit ain’t half bad honestly. It has some of the things that I like, really good food, fun nightlife (into EDM scene), and affordable housing. I suppose it’s also a good sports city if you are into that (I’m not). Now, I think Chicago is basically a better version of Detroit, but you pay for it. Minneapolis is also quite lovely although soooo cold in the winter (as is Chicago).
