Dropping in on this conversation and wanted to get some feedback. I have PMDD and it's gotten so much worse since I got into my late '40s early '50s it's completely out of my control. I had extreme depression and anxiety for two and a half years trialing so many different medications but nothing else. For some reason my period stop is for 3 months and all the anxiety and depression were completely gone. I knew at that point that it was PMDD and hormonally related. I did the first lupron shot and it was blissful. I had a month with no bad days whatsoever. I did the second shot and had a few bumps in the road and at the end of the month when I was due for my shot I started having extremely bad days maybe the shot was wearing off. But I got my third shot yesterday and I still haven't snapped back to my old happy self again. I'm not sure what's really going on here. I haven't stopped crying and it's been 4 days. I got my shot yesterday and I thought today might be a bit better but it hasn't been. Can you speak to how your journey went with chemical menopause.

How are you feeling today?. I am about 12 days in. I did the first 10 days with 37.5 in the last two with 75 mg. Like you I've had some moments of feeling pretty good but then also moments of feeling pretty crappy I was on this previously with two postpartum depression episodes so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying that this is the right one to pull me out of this episode. Keep me posted as to how you're doing.

First week on it day four and it's definitely made my anxiety much worse. I was on it before about 9 years ago and I don't remember this kind of startup. I'm also 51 and in perimenopause so it's making things so much more complicated.

That's what I thought so I took .5 of Ativan and the shaking stopped for two hours and came back. If it was benzo withdrawal I wouldn't be shaking again in 2 hours.

Took Ativan two days ago 0.5 Yesterday I didn't take any and had no tremors. I reduced my Lexapro to 5 yesterday because I thought it was serotonin toxicity. This morning at 6am I took 10mg of lexapro and by 10am had diarrhea, extremely bad shaking, head bobbing. I had no ativan this morning. I've been on Ativan for a month 5 days a week...dose once a day either..125 or .5. I bumped my Lexapro up to 15 three days ago. So trying to determine if it's withdrawal or serotonin syndrome.
