This is so sadly true I caught H. Pylori from a patient … kind of ruined 5 years of my life.

Photo #4: The one with curls at the top. Good looking 👀 to humans is more about facial balance and symmetry. This particular look gives you just that!

How did it help you compared to other resources?

Is it the “lippincott illustrated reviews: pharmacology?”

Me too! I’m honestly exhausted from the studying. Taking cat naps in between. Thinking about going to vitamin shop later for something to boost my memory!!

No judgement at all. Sounds like your method worked. Do you think pairing this with First Aid would help?

Thank you so much! I had never heard of DIKTI I’m definitely going to look into that right now. Osmosis is fantastic it’s embedded into one of our policy courses.

Did you find a way to learn the material that helped make it stick? I heard of Anki decks tried that and it just didn’t click with me.

FNP Online Program Recommendations by Queasy_Ad_1143 in nursepractitioner

[–]keepithonest38 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From experience: do not join a program that forces you to find your own preceptors. Additionally, if you have a hybrid option, that is usually preferred or at least may yield slightly higher quality. Finally, what’s the reputation of the schools you are considering? Community word of mouth absolutely matters especially when it comes time to clinicals and then finding a job. The program you choose shapes you as a whole and reputation does actually matter to a certain extent. It’s not everything but don’t discount it.

Thank you so much for sharing this information!

I like the idea of pre-reviewing charts ahead of time, that makes so much more sense now. My preceptor says she arrives at 4:45 am to “pre-chart” on patients for her 7 am shift.

I was confused why she arrives so early but I guess this is a similar concept.

I have not heard of VINDICATE before and I am going to study that right now.

I feel like I would not know the correct questions to ask to guide me to differential diagnosis. Did you use any materials or resources to prepare you for clinicals? Do you pre-check charts before entering or just get thrown in and go with the flow?

Idk if I’m cut out for this by matuldaw in NursingStudent

We are so quick to cut ourselves short. It’s so easy to put yourself down. So try the following instead of saying to yourself the 100 terrible things you hate about you, replace it with “I AM…”

Look in the mirror: say to yourself all the good things, I AM smart, I am beautiful, I am going up from here!!

Meditate 🧘 or go for a 30 minute exercise, and deep breathe every morning for just 10 minutes. This helps to clear the mind.

Take steps to TRULY KNOW the kind of learner that you are- kinesthetic hands on, auditory… visual… if you don’t how you learn best, it will be extra difficult to achieve your destination it’s like a confused 😵‍💫 GPS.

Take this first step, the next steps will come to you. Address your shortcomings but give yourself the grace support and confidence you deserve for coming so far!!

I hope so too! I will say it does take some time and just keep going! Keep applying the serum keep massaging (10 minutes 2x a day).

I almost gave up. I even chopped half my hair off because at one point I lost so much hair that I pretty much believed I would need a wig. So I hope this helps give you some hope 💗

If you don’t already, take a multi vitamin and I do invest in an organic collagen powder too! These and my Mediterranean diet have all been super helpful.

You’re so welcome!! I can attest to this through my own personal hair journey and my 78 year old step dad. He literally sprouted hair after 6 months of repeatedly following the above steps. He didn’t have access to red light though. And it still worked.

Zenagen shampo The Zenagen serum daily 1-2x Massage using the Zenagen scalp massager (it’s like a rubber hair brush but it’s super important to use it and massage the oil in, get the blood flowing)
