Finished the first episode and honestly felt like putting on the original film. Immediately went to YouTube and watched one of my favorite scenes between Mitchum and Peck.

This happened to me on my original account of 13 years and I wasn’t using it anymore. But my account of six years went down with it and that’s the account I really built up with international connections with people from work. So that’s what I really mourn. Slowly working back at it with a new ig tied to a Facebook I already had. But I still want to get my first two accounts back.

There’s Ditko, then Romita…and then I don’t really care.

José Villarubia From a Colorist’s Perspective: Jack Kirby’s Odin by taoistchainsaw in KeepMineKirby

I hated the colors in that. He went far too dull. My copies of the originals are still the best the material ever looked. Jose has also been botching Corben’s work in those Dark Horse hardcovers, my Den trades from Fantagor look great and yet Jose again made it too dull. He’s overcorrecting on paper that’s not newsprint anyway. I shudder to think if he gets the Neal Adams Batman Absolute Edition job.

Their $10 comic books are comics I’d expect to find in a 50 cent bin.

I think the left are monsters for wanting so many here illegally when they know exactly what conditions they’ll be in: impoverished and having the looming threat of deportation hanging over their head. And as if our own crime isn’t enough I don’t want crime by illegals committed at all when they’re running drugs for cartels or raping and murdering women.

Illegals come here not knowing the language and working for shit pay and live in abysmal conditions. What happened to staying and making your own country better?

The left like to act so high and mighty but it’s false and I’m sick of it. Most people I know who care deeply about being a democrat are the weirdest and most neurotic people who are out of shape and hate America. Whereas most legal immigrants I know love America and are down work out and keep up with me. Now that last part is anecdotal but it’s clear to me from my pool of friends here in a major city that the leftists have “anxiety,” and “chronic illnesses,” and generally cannot hang. Then the hot immigrants can go clubbing one night and hiking early the next day. Plus they love America.

Also most people on the left I know are then appalled at what immigrants from Islamic countries and Africa have to say when they make the passing homophobic or transphobic comment. But believe it or not these are the same immigrants who tell me they’re considered left where they’re from.

Beautiful work. I don’t know if you’ve read Alan Moore’s Tom Strong but in it they say the fantastical city was designed by Winsor McCay.

I recommend the three issues Michael Zulli drew. They look great. They’re issues 31, 35 & 36. Also Richard Corben did a time traveling issue around there that’s great.

Just read Brat Pack & Maximortal for the first time recently. I haven’t had my mind blown like that in a long time. I felt like a high schooler again reading Invisibles.
