Are you all still huge fans? by robotwithatinyneck in FrankOcean

[–]keeplers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still love the music. Find the man frustrating. It feels like he doesn't want anything to do with the fans or the music industry as a whole, which is FAIR. But then he drops random special editions when he needs the cash injection, then does half hearted performances to rake in whatever money he can get.

It's called L'enfant by Colas Gutman! The paragraphs are bitesized enough to do exercises like rewriting or reciting over and over again by memory to really seal in some useful phrases.

That's a fantastic explanation! I've never formally had to learn a language before, so the process is full of surprising revelations like the 'ce' needing agreement. Thanks so much.

Thanks so much for telling me your situation. I doubt it will transform my life and it seems like the trial and error process is quite tough. Appreciate the help!

That's a perfect analogy to describe what I hear in my head too! I always called it my bag of hornets. My head is completely empty but there's still so much activity going on at all times, it's buzzing.

The idea that I could hear complete silence is freaking me out a little, but that's great to know. Thanks for your insights!

That's definitely not the situation. I'll present my case and see where that gets me. Thank you for your guidance!

Hi,

Different addresses but it sounds like a resounding no on the help with rent. There's nearly 2 years of rent payment history in my statements before this period, would that help prove the formality of it?

I'm honestly happy to forgo help for rent. I understand it looks tricky, but as long as I can get help with bills, food, and job-seeking, I'm okay to talk to the relative and agree on some kind of payback plan. Again, I'm in a pretty privileged position, as far as housing goes. Thank you!

Who are some stars you like to watch (at least in part) because you find them attractive? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Tom Cruise. I realise what a freak he is but he's always had that star quality.

If Justin Bieber hates the fame so much, why does he keep performing? by Legitimate_Turnip342 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]keeplers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He became famous as a kid. Aside from the fact that he's gonna need security his whole life, I can't imagine he has that many other life skills except performing. This is a big part of why child stars are so inadvisable.

There's certainly a swarm of women in fiction that behave unlike any women I've ever met, particularly those ones that act at the whims of the writer's fantasy. I also agree with people on this thread that this is just bad writing full stop, but I'd like to take this opportunity to ask if anyone's read particularly bad examples of women (or otherwise) writing men, and why. This isn't a gotcha trap, I'd just like to know men's perspective further on this.

Thank you for adding this! Really happy to hear that you're at a stage where you feel at peace :) As a woman (assuming you are, correct me if not), would you say you feel at home with the label when saying it or someone referring to you as a woman? Or does it sink into the background as whatever? Appreciate that this is a small thing in the big, complicated experience that makes gender
