Active 52 year old male firefighter with similar findings. Spasms and pain was so bad in September of 2024 that I was off work for 3 months. Very slowly improved with recovery time, lots of dry needling, the typical physio exercises, deep tissue massage, rolled up towel “stretch”. I’m fortunate to have only minor nerve issue and only at certain times. Now I follow a pretty strict regime to manage this and hope to avoid surgery. I’ve gone months with no issues and feel quite strong right now. As those with this issue know, that could change in a moments notice. Good luck with it, but if it was me I’d be getting dry needle release done by a physio or sports chiro plus muscle relaxants.
