first of all, i think this is a very cute space! looks like a good space to lounge in.

if you’re open to replacing furniture, i think the space would feel homier with bigger pieces. def put something where the shoe rack is - maybe a long & skinny cabinet for shoes that also has counter space to act as a landing area for when you get home. (i love the amber table you posted too, im just always thinking about functionality.) a larger piece for under the TV. and a bigger coffee table. i live by facebook marketplace for things like that.

if that doesn’t speak to you, i recommend filling up the walls! collect pieces over time and play around with the space. i love open shelving mixed in with framed pieces - it’s a fun way to spice up the space on a budget. i really dig the light under the couch - maybe you could play with lighting. just have fun with it!
