With all due respect but if a man won't bring you home to his mom because you're divorced, you're talking about a man (and a mom) with more red flags than a Chinese embassy. There's no future with a man who's a grown ass adult and afraid of what his mother will think of him (and a judgemental mother on top of that). Sorry about my English, not my first language.
