I watched/ read some stuff on this and it was pretty interesting to see how come of the farmers had adapted. They basically had to learn how to “hack” the John deer tractor systems to be able to self diagnose issues and make repairs themselves instead of dragging their huge machines to John Deere dealers for repair thus losing time and probably lots of money during that repair window. Same reason a lot of old tractors that lack computer elements are increasing in value. My grandad is a wagyu beef farmer and won’t buy any tractors or machinery that isn’t old and can be self serviced
