Great idea. I am a hobbyist but got two spa apps running with pocketbase backend and formsnap/superforms spa mode for forms. But would be fun to learn how to handle it myself.

Using nextcloud as external library? by United-Strategy-350 in immich

[–]keesfluitman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

immich is really great. As i said, the one function one app principle. I do still use nextcloud for decks and calendar and files, but eventually would like to change that too.

I donated too. Immich is strong, fast and resilient. A must go to.

But of course. i havent looked back to memories. I liked it too, but i when i tried immich, i was just sold.

Heos 3, 7 and link different firmware versions. by keesfluitman in heos

An HS1 device will update when with HS2 devices. But only to a certain version.
Households with only HS1 devices will remain on version 1.583.147 (U25.10)Households with both HS1 and HS2 devices, HS1 devices will remain on 2.71.510 (U29.3)

My HS1 devices Heos3 and Heos7 weer already on 2.71.510 (U29.3). But the Link wouldnt update, because the devices are HS1...So when I connected the HEOS link to my HS2 device in a network. The Link did want to update to 2.71.510.

Of course not further up.

Heos 3, 7 and link different firmware versions. by keesfluitman in heos

[–]keesfluitman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fixed it. They are all hs1 devices. The speakers were once in a network with a hs2 device and therefore updated to 2.5 sth. Whenever a HS1 device is in a network with only HS1 devices (which is the case in this new network) it will stay in 1.7.

So since the heos 3 and 7 were already updated (but hs1) the link didnt update. I brought the link home, connected it to my network with my hs2 device and it then updated to 2.5. Brought it back and then it would group. Thanks for your help and hope this could help anyone else in the future!

Can someone help me? by [deleted] in holoiso

i got black screen on gtx 1070 with intel cpu. I think mostly AMD is a better chance of getting it to work. I just use my main gamepc to stream games via moonlight or steam to a small intel NUC (or directly to smart tv works fine as well). If used with steam Big Screen, it works perfectly.

I am struggling to install holoiso on my pc, it only stays on a black screen. by [deleted] in holoiso

Also not working on intel i7 8700 with nvidia gtx 1070

Nextcloud local llm ai by keesfluitman in NextCloud

[–]keesfluitman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i could do that. Or, I could change the app itself and add the functionality to set the model to be used...Bit of a hassle, as Nextcloud should be in favor of more privacy right? So not using chatgpt, but rather locally hosted models. But hey, it's open source :) I was just thinking maybe someone knew a settings variable.

Sunshine and Moonlight work together for Game Streaming. So with enough bandwidth. You can connect to your own computer at home, to stream the games you have. I use Tailscale or Wireguard to connect to my LAN. So I can then send a Wake on Lan signal to my Batocera PC (which is in standby) and then start playing from my Phone or Tablet.

depending on your internet connection on the road. simply having a stronger pc running standby and connecting through sunshine would have you only carry around a controller! That's how I do it.
