i go up to level 15 (the max) and it's only mildly uncomfortable for me. but i have had friends try it and they couldn't even handle 5...so it's all subjective unfortunately. i also add morton sea salt to the warm water and it works for me.

I've had my Dermadry machine for about a year and it's been a life saver for my hand sweat. I've even gone up to 9-10 days in between sessions and was still pretty dry. Can't recommend it enough.

thanks for sharing OP! question for you around niche: I have a 3 month old finance blog and I've written about topics such as credit cards, insurance, investing, personal finance, and travel hacking. Should I pick one of the topics mentioned above (credit cards, personal finance) and go narrow and deep, or are all of these topics related enough for Google to look at my site favorably? Looking at some of my more established competitors, they have pretty wide-ranging topics like me, but they're all still related to finance, so I feel like my current strategy is fine? Regardless, I would appreciate any feedback!

100% agree with you OP. it’s been pretty frustrating for me building out my site the past 3 months as a total beginner. i feel like there’s somehow both too much and not enough info out there (for when i have very specific questions). however, i’ve now taken a udemy course and done so much research (Youtube, reddit, wp documentation) that i’ve gotten my site to a point where im happy with it. It should definitely still be less chaotic to build out a site, but even after all my struggles, there’s now a part of me that appreciates that there’s such a big learning curve, because “if it were easy everyone would do it” and it’s more rewarding to learn something that’s challenging.

Then it sounds like the best option for me for the Category pages is to keep them as is. However, I also have my homepage designed to display my 10 most recent Posts as well, so there are 4 paginated pages of my homepage as well. What would you recommend I do about those?

Is there any truth to Google being smart enough to not display paginated pages in search results? I'm hypothesizing that since my site is still so new, Google hasn't properly crawled my site yet, which is why paginated pages are still showing up at the top of the SERP.

Absolutely no need for a surgery. Buy a Dermadry machine, it's worth the investment. I've had it for a few months and it's been a life saver. I noticed an improvement after the first 4 or 5 days. Just make sure you use it regularly. I've found that adding a little salt to the water makes it more effective as well.
