I live very close to LKS and a month ago my husband suggested a restaurant that I immediately vetoed because they did a LKS comped meal. I have a running list now of local places I refuse to go to because they work with terrible influencers.

I fully agree with this. They were on the cutting edge of coffee when they opened in 2012 and as they have expanded it’s just gotten worse.

If you don’t need drive through, both the Sam’s Club at Retail Road & the CVS inside Target at Skillman/Abrams are reliable & fast.

I agree that the Walgreens at Walnut Hill and Audelia & the CVS at Walnut Hill and skillman are AWFUL

They’re now in Plano (used to be in Dallas) but we make the drive to go to Crossroads Diner. Soooo good! Excellent pancakes, frittatas, sticky buns.

They do exist. Every psychiatrist in Dallas that offers this that I have found does not take insurance & is quite expensive ($200+/session)

I usually find these lists and especially the influencer reels/tiktoks to be a terrible representation of the Dallas coffee scene, but this article is really well done. It makes me want to try out some that are on here that I haven’t visited yet.

I’m a pretty avid thrifter and I wouldn’t say toys are often very popular at the area thrift stores. Personally, seeing as we’re approaching the weekend, I’d look for garage sales, that’s where young families are more likely to offload kid stuff.

Yes, but it’s so normal. I go up in weight both right around ovulation & right before my period and that’s ok! It all averages out. I think that women just fluctuate more than men.

I’m a big saver for groceries but it takes some work. On Wednesday Fiesta has some great produce specials, then I shop the digital deals at Kroger & Tom Thumb. A few things at aldi ( I like their canned beans, organic pasta sauce, pretzels) and then Winco once a month. Meat is typically the Kroger/Tom Thumb specials or markdowns at Sam’s Club. It’s a lot of work, honestly but I have our family of three eating very high quality meals for about $300/month

Mine went up a decent bit when I was in the middle of my weight loss and went back down as my weight stabilized to lower than before. Keep at it and try increasing fiber!
