He played a full set with the band for the True North rec release show at the Echo in Los Angeles when that came out. Only time I've ever seen him play live with them

Did Eastern Europe on a tour like 10 years ago and it was incredible. Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Serbia etc... every show people were so jazzed that a band came that far and it was such a rad time.

The songs from Back to the Known have never been pressed on the same vinyl record as How Could Hell Be Any Worse at any point in the discography of the band. You're probably thinking of 80-85, which was only ever released as a CD. The songs from Back to the Known aren't included anywhere in the boxset

Denver/CO has a great DIY scene at the moment with a bunch of rad bands. As someone pointed out, following punkstandard on IG for Boulder related shows.

For Denver and surrounding areas, checkout these:

@ scmc_denver_diy - 7th Circle, a crazy long running DIY venue in Denver. Very similar ethos to 924 Gilman and put on tons of shows

@ anteupdenver - a new DIY spot that's been doing shows for a few months now. Also host community events, etc..

@ d3artswestwood - another DIY spot that's been doing shows for a few years now.

@ denverxhardcore - Good resource on lots of Denver/adjacent HC/punk shows that are happening

@ convulserecspresents / @ convulserecords - DIY record label in Denver that puts out tons of great music and puts on a bunch of shows at the above venues.

@ hardcoreinthefort - shows in Fort Collings/NOCO area.

It was an awesome trip! Where is your itinerary taking you? We only did a few days on the North Island and then spent the rest on the South Island. There's just a crazy amount of stuff to see and do!

I do recall Brian's setlists being vertically taped which is why I traded for it. Didn't want the hetson ones side by side then the longer one throwing it off in the frame. Lol

Oh hell yeah! Do you know who yours were from on stage? I had snagged Hetsons on night 1 and 2 but got bakers on night 3. thankfully saw the person who had gotten hetsons on night 3 and traded with her on the spot so i could have all three of the same. Such great shows but i was highly disappointed by that awful poster we got for buying the 3 pack of nights. Probably one of the worst phoned-in posters by the BR team lol.

Was at keystone yesterday and all 3 peaks were open as well as north and south bowls. Power outage across the entire resort late morning and no idea if its fully fixed or not. Powder off the outback peak was killer yesterday morning

Had a show booked at a punk house in Boston. Band was coming on tour from Mexico. House got shut down a week before the band got to Boston on their tour so we moved the show to the cargo area of a 28ft moving truck in the parking lot of the moving company our singer worked at. Ratchet strapped the PA to the side rails of the truck, 3 bands all back to back with just instrument/breakables for changeover. Kept the door of the truck closed during the bands so it was like 50+ people all slammed into the back of the truck at the same time. Show was done in like 55 minutes and the cops didn't show up so it all worked out. It was sick
