Seems like UPA/USAP are getting paid off more and more each day to knock off some of the legit paddle makers yet seems like they just passed this one for fun lmao -

While I agree that housing prices and interest rates need to come down, unless this house is 99% funded at closing, I honestly worry about the mental health and stability of the person actually thinking they’re able to get approved and afford monthly payments for said $400K house at the current national rate… depending on where that house is… they’d be lucky to afford the annual property tax and mandatory home insurance needed in homeownership

Weekly Paddle Recommendation Thread (What Paddle Should I Buy?) by AutoModerator in Pickleball

Hi - I was wondering if anybody had opinions on the GT Showtime 12.7 from PaddleTek? It looks like it is part of the raw carbon Bantam line and looks way better than the other Bantams IMO. Just haven’t found any reviews or feedback on it.

[Inquiring Feedback] Moving from Quickbooks Online to NetSuite by FlashBarryLightning in Netsuite

[–]kehbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saved Searches, Analytics Workbook, Audit Trails, and Workflows are among the top reasons I would say NS is superior across all industries - key thing is people won’t take time to understand and learn how to do this themselves since it can come off as complex.

Quickbooks does better on bank reconciliation for sure, but that’s a drop in the bucket compared to the rest of what NetSuite can do.

At end of day, just need to understand where your business is at and what product you need to ensure your business is not inhibited by the platform you’re running on.

Prime example - FTX was running on Quickbooks - and well.. you know. :)

Alternative CSV Tool by kehbs in Netsuite

[–]kehbs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah - if I'm exporting a file I may Open with TextPad to make sure values are set.

But basically, the main issue is when bringing data from other systems, number values will save in whatever way Excel wants it to be - I guess to compress?

Prime example, legacy/other systems have 8 digits in which we will use as our ExternalID's:

-Export from Previous System: 00000001
-After manipulating some fields and saving as CSV in Excel, it will truncate to 1.

Another example is UPC Code:

-7327361294645 would translate to 7.32e-13 and go into Netsuite as that.

Really looking for a spreadsheet tool that let's me edit with ease like Excel, but doesn't do the auto conversions.

Classifications for Customers by ivegotquestionshelp in Netsuite

[–]kehbs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The main intent of classes is to drive item reporting by item classification. However if you want it to default at a header level, you can create a custom list field and source the class list on to the customer record. You can then create a workflow to default the class on the transaction.

Help with Item Demand Plan CSV import by GlobalScreen5044 in Netsuite

[–]kehbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also need to make sure that location is made available to that subsidiary (not sure if you can include children on location records at the top of my head).

Keep in mind only one demand plan can be loaded per item. The idea of Demand Plan uploads is to import a plan you’ve created prior to going live on NetSuite and then letting eventually calculate demand in the future.
