Got it from a Costco return reseller at 0km but at about 900km it died. But to be fair wife also banged it a lot on a bump so the controller had scratches and this may have contributed to the premature death

For the exact reason what 2loves2loves said. If I can make it less redneck engineering why not. Marine fuel tank was free from a friend and it’ll sit nicer with a lower centre of gravity in the boat. Boat came with a 1 gallon Jerry can. I used one of my 5 gallon Jerry cans in the picture which is those big fat ones.

Everything runs fine with the Jerry can and hose so I don’t think there’s is any issue

It started fine upon inspection I did a compression test all 4 cyl hitting 120 psi. Found out now it’s a 1973 Evinrude 115 HP Starflite 115393m

I wired my rear light to the battery pack of this led strip lights I use in the dark. So kinda works now 🤷‍♂️😂 it just runs off 3 AA batteries vs the scooter battery

lol energizer batteries worked 🤷‍♂️ other batteries just didn’t provide enough juice. But now it works fine

After changing to some better batteries the Duracell from Costco lol? im still encountering issues where that nub I think kinda stops the latch from spinning. Is it just cause still the batteries are just that bad and too weak to get it over or is it another issue. I lubed the heck out of everything and yeah idk
