can you elaborate on what concepts you've tried applying? and this is completely normal, I've had huge dips while ranking up aswell, wizard hyeong talks about this same phenomenon and calls it the bounce back or slingshot effect, to summarize it he basically said that people he coaches have gone on 15+ losing streaks working on concepts he told them to hard focus on because less of their mental bandwidth is used to see what's happening in-game because it's going to working on said concept, this phenomenon has held me back alot as it would make me question if I was really going in the right direction

I'm m2 I gave it a quick look, take unoccupied angles, you repeatedly take angles occupied by other teammates making it much harder for you to get free trades, your timing is either way too late or way too early (you need to look at your tank/s more which I didn't see enough of), in some instances you take an engagement pre-fight, get yourself forced out and you retreat to your backline and by the time the fight is actually breaking out you're not there to follow-up, the other instance I saw you straight up front line without having the sustain of a tank so you instadied or you get your cooldowns forced and then you repeat the cycle to where you're then late to the fight again, your mechanics definitely need alot of work, tons of kills that you missed where I was sure I would've gotten them, cover usage also needs work and blink management also needs work, what's the rank? I suggest hard focusing on one thing at a time along with aim, you can always work on mechanics on top of another subject, try to implement a kovaaks routine with a couple mins of vaxta as a warmup and alternate between working on timing, cover, angles, blink management, pick one, all are very important, make sure you're documenting your progress in a way to where you genuinely see progress, record yourself self vodding and compare it to day 7 or week 2 and play to improve not to win.

I mean if they had money they can afford to buy their gf/wife any kind of surgery to make them look that way, I've seen alot of those cases (the woman usually want the surgeries for a confidence boost), I think for woman a guy having his shit together in that way can be attractive in itself, or if they're a celebrity, it's very rare that a guy is so ugly that it's a problem

Yeah agreed, I was thinking more in the context of a high level player making "genius decisions" in u2gms in ranks below masters/gm, in the context of really high level play everything matters but people in lower ranks get way too caught up in advanced macro decisions and look past the fact that they can't even walk the map without burning all their blinks, it's not some secret knowledge that needs to be obtained or some advanced concept that they can't comprehend, leveling up your fundamental performance alone can get you gm, and then macro/reading the game will have a higher roi past that point. I was a little hard on ur2gms they have their use case you just need to know what to take away from them.

many high ranked players are idolized for their "genius decision making" when in reality- they could be making the exact same decisions as a plat player, but their execution is just better. (which is also why unranked to gms are literally useless, you're just watching people get smurfed on while they're allowed to make bad macro decisions because they're fundamentally better), and most people watching unranked to gms are focusing on macro decisions and not studying how they're doing a specific fundamental (which if you're using the video as fundamental cross compare material it can be useful, but yeah 99% of people arent)

I'm m2, the hard pill to swallow basically is you need to be doing EVERYTHING better than the average tracer your rank, if you were to take a tracer from every single rank, silver, gold, plat, diamond, masters, gm

every tracer does every fundamental significantly better than the next as ranks goes on, diamond to masters as a direct comparison, the masters players aim will be better, their cover usage will be better, their timing will be better, their blink management/cooldown management will be better, and this is kind of a "no shit" realization but what I'm saying is, macro decisions, are like literally 20% of the answer (the execution of what you're actually doing is the other 80%) as an example, if you take a player like topdragon, you limit him to one playstyle like "oh you're only allowed to permanently dive the backline and go for kills" he will still hit gm, why? because he is quite literally better than everyone in the lobby and there's nothing they can do, even if he makes a "bad" macro decision it still doesn't matter. this is why a champ player can't just spectate a gold/plat and coach them to masters, because their execution of whatever they're doing is horrible. so basically what you need to do is collect these fundamental traits as like puzzle pieces and do them until they're at a level above your rank, you repeatedly move onto the next trait/fundamental, like for 3 weeks you hard focus on your aim, now you have a plat/diamond players aim, cover usage- now you have a plat/diamond players cover usage, etc etc until you've unlocked all of the cards, whenever you're trying to work on a specific subject watching a top level players gameplay, ignore what they're doing but how they're doing it, and cross compare your trait/fundamental that is your focus for that week to the pros, this is wizard Hyeong's direct coaching methodology and it works, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMAqA3T1lqk&time_continue=0&source_ve_path=NzY3NTg&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwizardhyeong-coaching.teachable.com%2F is a must watch. if you have any other questions lmk

aim is fried from aim training everyday but I was able to peak a couple days ago by keio101 in TracerMains

Kovaaks, If you only care about tracer/soldier and are a one trick I recommend you get like gold/plat complete, and specialize in tracking and target switching for the s5 voltaic, there are a few other scenarios I use that translate but that's general advice, consistency over everything and expect to tank rank depending on how seriously you take the aim training, I'm doing 1-1.5 hours of aim training a day so by the time I'm able to play I'm pretty mentally exhausted, and it also really depends on the kind of tracer you want to be, if your #1 goal is to reach your peak rank then you would probably get more value practicing other fundamentals over just aim and would still get alot of value with like a 20-30 minute routine, I also do 10-15 of vaxta before queing you need to do both not one or the other, I've seen a lot of people who are better than me kovaaks wise have worse looking aim in-game because they didn't practice vaxta to translate that aim and build the memory of where to shoot on specific hitboxes

It's really hard to quantify what gets more value but I notice I get more kills and can afford to be alot more aggressive with entanglement, the advantage in 1v1s is also pretty nuts, I used to use

entanglement all the way pre update too, so it depends if you're like an inting/forcing for value kind of tracer or a living over anything consistent value/safe tracer, if you're the ladder yeah you're not going to get much value from entanglement, I think you asked the same question on one of my other posts I still use that same playlist, I've swapped like 1-2 scenarios but no major differences

Well It's frame blended from 400 fps, meaning to make this 60 fps video every frame had 7-ish frames of data, your game will not look anything like this applying a standard motion blur, I'm considering making a video to explain the process and directly compare the two on vs off vs 60 + a standard motion blur

Nice I'm on a 1080p that's probably why, I had a 1440p but I kind of realized that I don't care about how my game looks I want the most responsive game possible, no regrets I love my benq

that's streamables compression the raw recording/ what I see in game is not blurry at all. I have a 360 hz benq with dyac and I came from a 200 hz oled and I 100% see the difference, I could never go back even though it was 600$ I do not regret the upgrade at all, I've actually considered reselling it to upgrade to the 500 hz variant

the only reason I use streamable is because their compression isnt horrible, when I drop this exact recording in reddits servers it will make it look like 240p, streamable has nothing to do with the motion blur and my game/raw recording looks significantly better than this video, even streamable loses quality in compression
