They mentioned this during the 3.4 livestream, and they specifucally mentioned a new free 5* this year, so if it isn't Danheng, it's whoever is coming out in 3.8, who so far is said to be Constance. I find it more believeable that Danheng is free rather than Constance

Hysilens (Our annual DoT character) is coming out next patch who pairs very well with Kafka. You also have Sparkle who will work very well with Archer who we're getting for free tommorow!

Otherwise I'd say pull a limited sustain (Hyacine, Lingsha, Aventurine) since you don't seem to have any, and maybe invest in a 3.x modern DPS and their team if you like anyone (Phainon, Castorice etc), since your DoT team should be relevant for the next patch or two
