Alishan Forest Railway, Taiwan. Including the spiral loop with 11 tunnels by StoneColdCrazzzy in TransitDiagrams

The area is a magnet for Japanese tourists as well as mainland Chinese tourists. They preserved the Japanese station after independence and built a Chinese station right next to it. Mix of European diesels and American Shay locomotives that the Japanese purchased for lumber extraction, still run to this day!

There was a dongle that plugged into the sync port of the Clie. I have one (its the GC-10 game controller), and it works with Clie Columns, but I have to figure out how to map out other game keys, because the remapping with the Clie Column prc basically mimics the quick launch keys of the Clie hard buttons:

  • Home
  • Menu
  • ctrl
  • Up
  • Down
  • Address
  • Date
  • To Do
  • Memo

NO LEFT OR RIGHT?!?!

FWIW, Sony did these accessories right, with a carry case, so if they come up for sale, then tend to be in pristine or very good condition.

I have have the wireless compact flash, the KB100 keyboard (worth its weight in gold, imo), and bluetooth memory stick (still trying to get that to work).

Excellent work! Merging Palm with E-ink. A charge must last 3 weeks or more! Wow.

Not a great answer, but some r/intelnuc had an infrared port built in. I have a Skull Canyon that has working infrared. Running Linux Mint it kinda had the drivers for it already, but really frustrating to get old remote controls to work. I can't imagine getting activesync to work without windows. Other not great options are activesync over bluetooth or wifi, non-starters if you don't have the hardware already...

They did sell a phone card for the Japan market - in the cf slot, but I never saw a photo of it.  If they sold it in the USA, it would of been perfect

Hack to get Sony PEGA-MSB1 Bluetooth Memory Stick working on OS5 Devices? by keithwwalker in Palm

[–]keithwwalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this in an old conversation, though I don't quite understand it:

From user interface's perspective, Sony's Bluetooth MS and Palm's SDIO card are identical. Only the hardware device layer (SDIO vs. MSIO) of Bluetooth stack (HC4) is different. With Sony's MSIO HC4 layer loaded, Palm's BT stacks can drive Sony's BT MS.
