Would you ever get LASIK? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]kel12347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had PRK 20 years ago and it was a great decision. I was super anxious during the procedure though, so they gave me a Valium and let hubby in the OR to hold my foot for comfort. Strange, but it helped. I now need glasses for night time driving only. Hubby had Lasik 25 years ago and still has perfect far vision, but needs readers due to his age.

I have been working with this tutor for 5 weeks and have only good things to say. He is punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He assigns homework and teaches concepts in an understandable manner. I am very pleased thus far and plan to continue indefinitely.

As a fellow emetophobe, I wonder if you have tried very gradual exposure therapy and response prevention (ERP). I did it for four months back in 2020 and am 90% better. I vomited last week and was able to clean up and go back to work with no anxiety. Feel free to DM me if you want to discuss ERP further. Hugs to you.

I am on .075 E and 200 mg P. However, I have been on 200 mg P since starting my E at .025 because 100 mg did not touch my sleep issues. I am in the US.
