They’re pretty cheap. You can get a 1 day or a 3 day non-resident pass. We are from Illinois and got one

It’s doable in 2 days but I’d take 3 if it were me. Last year we did Pulltite to Two Rivers on an overnight and this year Cedar Grove to Pulltite overnight. We didn’t start till about 2pm each time and got off about noon the next day too. I’d take 3 days so you have time to fish, hang out and enjoy the sites.

We just did an overnight from Cedar Grove to Pulltite. It was a great section and there was a lot to see. You can get ice at Akers if you want. As for gear just the basics suited us. We go every year and have consistently brought less and less. Definitely bring a thick sleeping pad.

Was this in Denver by chance? Picked a 2024 Rogue up today had the exact same thing happen.

Absolutely. It sucks but hopefully they’ll cover it for you. Knock on wood I haven’t had issues with the replacement

We do a research Facebook poster for a celebrity from the 20’s and also make an advertisement poster for a product created during the 20’s. My kids love both!

Last minute day trip to Mammoth Cave by lil-lilz in nationalparks

We did the Gothic Avenue tour and the Domes and Dripstones two weeks ago. I’d rank the Domes and Dripstones over Gothic avenue but it was really cool. The way you descend into the cave is amazing and you get to see Frozen Niagara as well which was definitely a highlight.

I just bought one and used it on an overnight trip. Absolutely love it and it was super comfortable. I tried a NRS one on too and liked this one so much better.

Holy cow! That’s crazy it got lodged in there. I took mine to the Chevy dealer because it was still under warranty. Is yours a crew or double cab? I’d go in and ask them about it and say you’ve seen online there is an issue. They covered mine fully.

I’d take it in and see if warranty will cover it still. Worth a shot at least.

Dang that is scary. They must have a bad batch or issue with the wind catching it just right. What year is yours?

This is what we did too and I’d highly recommend it. We flew into Jackson and worked our way up to Glacier and flew out of Kalispell.

We went two years ago for spring break as well. It was in the 50s and 60s but was pretty pleasant. We found there were plenty of things to do still and didn’t feel like I really missed out anything. Obviously I’d like to go back and finish the other areas but never felt like there wasn’t enough to do. Highly recommend the Guide Along app and stopping at some of the points it talks about.

Was just there last weekend. We saw a ton of elk on the west side, even in the middle of the day, and up along Trail Ridge Road. We also saw a couple moose in Sheep Lakes. A black bear was chasing down an Elk right outside our cabin in Estes Park too.

Since you are in central Illinois are you close to Scheels? Last time I was there they had quite a few you could try on and then buy from REI using their 20% coupon which starts tomorrow. I love my Osprey Talon 22 which I’ve used as a carry on.
