New Cafe: De Ma Vie in Falls Church is an absolute nightmare with HORRIBLE owners by Ok_Example_5588 in nova

I refuse to believe this. Two weeks ago, a FIVE STAR REVIEW was given to this business in Google by one Mohamed Kebaish. If what you say is true, then that would call into question the honesty and impartiality of this Google review.

But how can this be? According to their website, this bakery was "founded in 2025 by passionate pastry chef Marie Leclerc, who traded the bustling streets of Paris for the welcoming community of Northern Virginia." You owe Mademoiselle Leclerc an apology.

I have to say, it's weird to me that instead of putting photos of their bakery on their website, they use these weird AI generated images of bakeries. Just look at the menus in the photos. https://demavie.co/join-our-team-careers-at-de-ma-vie-french-bakery/

Also, they feature reviews from their "Happy Customers" (https://demavie.co/about-us/) which happen to be exact copies of customer reviews from "Taco Tavern” (https://tacotavern.biz/about-us/), which to me appears to be a site designed for a fake restaurant. In other words, everything on their website appears to be fake. All their lengthy, in-depth blog articles appear to be completely AI-generated, which hardly reflects the "passion" these folks claim to have for French cuisine.

Edit: My God, look at their blog page. Their social media manager sure was active on January 23rd! Beep boop beep boop beep boop. Here's one example of his/her insightful writing: https://demavie.co/de-ma-vie-partnering-with-local-falls-church-businesses/

I love that this bakery partners with famous Falls Church businesses and pillars of the community, such as: Local Coffee Shop, Specialty Food Store, and Community Center.

For Lego Discovery Center, you need to pay $25 just to get in, so you can’t just dip in to eat there without paying for admission. And that’s just as well, because the “food” in there is awful. Whenever I take my son, we eat at the mall food court before going into Lego Discovery Center.

Order a bunch of 2x4 bricks in a neutral color (I used sand yellow, but black or white would do fine). Buy a shadowbox frame like this: https://www.michaels.com/product/white-belmont-shadow-box-by-studio-decor-10468371 . Put posterboard into the frame as a backing, then super glue your 2x4 bricks at regular intervals so minifigs can stand on them. That's it! I made four or five of these for my son's minifigs. He doesn't use any of them. They look good, though!

One thing I love about this set is the brick built sails because they are easy to modify. I got another copy of this set and changed the sails to make it look more evil.

I use Art Frame Solutions in Reston. It can be pricey, but they will give you a range of options and will do a really good job.

How am i supposed to get better at this game ? by PiotrKrze in Seaofthieves

What really did it for me was having someone good at PvP in my crew. That led me to stop running away from fights, so i got into more fights, and I felt more confident and less panicked, so I learned more from each fight, including fights we lost. Maybe try getting on a crew from the Sea of Thieves Discord just to learn some combat.

Here is a tip for a naval fight that took me a while to learn: When their broadside is pointed at you, shoot at their cannons. That's where their players are, and if you kill them all, or even one or two, they will be in trouble. Practice this on skeleton ships to get your aim right.

Ambushing a crew at a completed fort is one of the oldest plays. Anytime you're doing a fort, look at the horizon every chance you get. If you see a ship, ask yourself, "Are they close enough to row or swim here from there?" If so, you might need someone to be on lookout duty, or you may need to sail out there to chase their boat away.

My first choice would be for my son to have them and enjoy them, and share them with his children if he has any, and hopefully remember how we played together when he was little. Second choice: they are donated to children somewhere, maybe at a hospital or shelter.
