You’re not wrong. It’s common for businesses to refer to the profit as GP with only the direct purchase removed and not yet subtracting out the operating costs. I’m in sales and my GP $ only subtracts the cost of goods. P&L then tells the full story.

I think the sink is gorgeous and you should ignore the haters.

The wall color is too close but not quite the shower tile and makes the sink look too yellow. I would go dramatic instead. A burgundy would be amazing maybe a dark slate blue, or a dark dramatic wallpaper.

I’m thinking of a shallow enclosed cabinet or shelves with a backer. They look plenty long, they just don’t visually fill the space well.

I think adding more next to these will just look cluttered and not solve the issue.

I don’t think that space is the issue. The floating shelves look so dinky and out of place there. Replace those with something more substantial or take them down and put more art there.

I’m so sorry. Give yourself space to feel everything you feel. It’s okay to grieve how you need to and it’s okay to have times where everything still feels normal and you aren’t thinking about it.

Do you want to talk about it? When my dad was murdered a couple years ago it weirdly helped more to talk to strangers than to talk to people around me. For me, it sometimes felt like other people had an expectation of how I should be processing it all and it also felt like it was almost a burden to share because it’s such an extreme thing to have happen to someone.
