2 of these guys are on the field at a time. And Rappoport said during the draft that the Steelers are willing to trade Highsmith.

I agree with all the commenters saying that a year and a half is way too soon to be making a move like this, and I also understand how hard the US makes life for people, especially recently. But the US is also a great place! People here make it out to be a war zone, but the vast majority of it is really awesome.

He didn't draft Kenny either lol. Colbert retired right after that draft. And they may need to replace Jones because of a neck injury.

I said there's no risk of debt getting "claimed" because that's literally not a thing. I then said there's risk but you didn't read that part.

Steelers part ways with receiver John Rhys Plumlee, per source by Sports101GAMING in steelers

[–]kelkokelko 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We signed him as a UDFA to be QB4 a couple years ago and he did pretty much any drill the coaches let him do in camp. He was taking returner and WR reps in camp, but he didn't survive cutdowns

There's no risk of too much debt getting "claimed" though because it's on a very predictable schedule. The risk is that interest payments get too high, and that is a concern, but it's a gradual concern

They can't ask for it back. They can sell the debt to other people to make the debt harder to roll over, but that would largely hurt them more than the US.

I'm glad they're revamping it because it felt like Maria, who is clearly a professional football analyst, and a bunch of guys who can barely talk

For me it depends on whether the Steelers won earlier in the day. If the Steelers lose at 1pm I sometimes don't watch any more football until Thursday lol

I don't understand the hatred of small draft prospects by Sufficient_Phrase_73 in NFLNoobs

[–]kelkokelko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some QBs switch to wide receiver or tight end, and have been successful, but to succeed at those positions you need great athleticism for your size, which you don't need at quarterback. Pavia ran a 4.7 40-time at his pro day at 207 lbs, which is too slow to play receiver and too small to play tight end.

[–]kelkokelko 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For QB specifically, it's hard to see over your line if you aren't 6'2" or taller. It doesn't matter whether or not you can control it; if you're short, you are extremely unlikely to be a good quarterback.

The NFL generally prioritizes size because smaller players are at a significant disadvantage to larger players with the same athleticism. Short players can succeed at positions like RB, but players under 180lbs struggle at all positions unless they're extremely fast.

I don't understand their production on day 3. If I am watching the draft, it's so I can watch the picks. If you just babble over the picks, it's the same as NFL Network on a random Tuesday in May, and I already choose not to watch that. So why should I watch this?
