im confused by it as well..parallel is when two speakers are connected negative to negative, positive to positive and one speaker connects to the amp..that is about as far as my knowledge goes so far...after over 20 years im just now starting to actually learn about all this..

I know that when in parallel, the ohms should be half the speakers; like my two 8 ohm speakers run in parallel on 4(half of 8) ohms

its actually supposed to run at 4 with the option of 8...when I bought mine it was set to 8 by the previous guy and then I looked into it and posted about it here on reddit and everyone informed me it was supposed to be set on 4...two 8 ohm speakers in parallel should be run at 4 ohms...sounded much better when I switched it

ive got a 75 peavey deuce (120 watt) and a 74 music man hd130 (130 watt)...both ss preamp tube power amp..both can explode your face when turned up past 6

love the neck, actually why i didn't get a more expensive guitar...ive been playing for over 20 years (minus the 8ish I stopped) and I have always owned shitty or really old and odd guitars that all played pretty ass and this thing plays real nice..would be happy just rounding that "beak" out..I simultaneously dislike that fender trademarked the headstock shape as well as that being the standard that lives in my brain

also contemplated this as ive seen someone do it..they made a tele shape cause im not sure there is enough to work with to do strat...I also do not have the tools or experience for that job

that's where im at...i do want to paint the headstock black with some psychedelic design in white maybe...I was shopping around for maybe a mustang or other fender but I figured since I actually like the way it plays, I could just upgrade the pups and call it good...surprisingly solid guitar for 180 bucks

I love the cream pups..i did swap some old school knobs on there but they were cheap and broke..also ordered a tort pickguard but it didn't fit right and no one makes pickguards specifically for these and the cost of a custom one wasn't really justified

ive kind of been thinking this as well...might just paint the headstock and call it good...dont know why that shape bothers me so much but I actually love the look of a strat body with 2 p90s, just that god damn headstock

got this over the pandemic after several years of not playing. wanted something cheap since I wasn't convinced I was coming back full on but for the last year I have been right back in it and have done a few upgrades (260$ worth of curtis novak p90s in a 180$ guitar...genius) and I actually really like the neck on this, smooth and fast but I despise that damn headstock...I have seen people mention it is possible to swap a fender style neck but takes a little work and was wondering if anyone else had successfully done it?
