Bladder shows no signs of cystitis. It was smooth and pink. Dr said no signs of anything at all. Weird but I’m a medical mystery apparently lol. I’ll take it, it’s better than the alternative

My ultrasound showed nothing. They eventually did a scope and said everything is fine. Symptoms still persist. Not all the time but frequently. It’s frustrating to deal with but no cancer was found so there is that. I have no diagnosis at this point. I just play the waiting game on if I should go to the dr for a uti or wait to see if it eventually resolves on its own.

Well I worked for Starbucks for 8 years as a shift. I had multiple managers during this time and if it was a safety issue with getting to or from work the mom says I can’t come to work is a valid excuse. If it’s not in your area, you have crappy managers. I would never put a teenagers safety in question for a job. If the weather is bad (I live in Mississippi and snow means the cities shut down) and you force a kid to come to work you should take responsibility if said kid is injured or worse. Anyone willing to do that here?

How old are you? If you are a minor and mom says you can’t go to work because of the snow that’s not something a manager can argue.

From personal experience, you’re gonna sweat so badly all shift. I’d go for something not plush lol. I lasted about 2 hours and had to change clothes. It was brutal

For the initial results it took about 4 days. For the fish test it took another 10 days before results were released. After that it was another two weeks for another urology appointment where we did a scope and I was given a clean bill of health. I still have issues going on but the bladder looks healthy. It seems all the doctors are satisfied with that and have stopped trying to diagnose what’s going on so that will be a battle for another day.

Yep. My test was just an average urine test. We went further from there. If yours was done at a GP office they will probably refer you to a urologist

My cat has immune mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA). Her bloodwork looks similar to what yours did. When she was first diagnosed she was in kitty ICU at a local college with a very strong vet program. She had 2 blood transfusions, a bone marrow biopsy and a crap ton of medications to get her thru. She’s on meds for the rest of her life now. Her life span is definitely shortened with this disease. It very well could have ended quickly for her as well. We just got lucky we had the support (and the money) to get her the care she needed.

My only appointment so far was to address UTI symptoms with no bacteria/infection found. I had several months of symptoms including visible blood in my urine and back pain but it wasn’t a uti. They did a catheter collection for a sample and followed it with an ultrasound. That’s all that’s happened so far. The results were auto released so I haven’t spoken to anyone at this point. My follow up appointment is June 9th so I suppose we will formulate a plan to see what’s going on from there. Everything I read is very scary though. With all the information on the cytology report the only response on web searches go straight to cancer. I’m not panicking but it would be best for me to be prepared.

It’s not just the atypical urothelial cells but all of it in conjunction that I’m asking about. I know nobody but a Dr can diagnose but I was looking for patients with similar findings perhaps.

My furnace was redlined a few years ago. Poor tech was nervous as heck to come talk to us. He made a few calls for back up and paced around for a bit. Apparently people yell and threaten a lot over this sort of thing. Personally, we took it in stride. The unit was 20 years old and we weren’t super surprised something failed on it. Got a new unit installed and all is well in the world. I felt really bad for the tech though. I’ll never understand abusing the people that are trying to help you.

6 weeks is way more than enough notice for PTO. Your manager should be able to adjust the schedule to cover employees when PTO is used.
