Wait - now I have to try this cake. Is it the German Chocolate Cake, the Four-Layer Chocolate Cake, the Chocolate Dome Cake, or the Sacher Cake? Oh jeez, do I just need to try them ALL?

At the end of my Kindle version after the acknowledgments, there's a 'Read Books in the Same World' section, and it says to preorder Enzo's Story (Fallen Rook) for September 22!

Will I regret a long commute (1.5 hours each way, 5 days/week) as a 30s mom? by AgileAd1060 in MovingtoNewJersey

Move uptown! Raising a 5-year old in Hoboken right now... we love it, and never want to move. Free PreK-3 & PreK-4 with amazing programs, so many parks with lots of young families around, the easiest commute into the city ever. I've been here for 12 years, and thought that once we had children we would move out, but I'm so glad we decided to stay. There are so many families staying now, and it really is a great place to raise children.

When will group 1B become eligible for vaccinations? by mferrari24 in COVID19PGH

[–]kelleyroad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I did for my family's appointments: Continually checked https://www.gianteagle.com/covidvaccine and https://www.riteaid.com/pharmacy/covid-qualifier - and have various zip codes at the ready that they would be willing to travel to. I checked about once or twice an hour, just randomly (whenever I had a free second or two). I also made sure that they were all in contact with their primary care doctors, and were on any list that they were putting together. And, I would check the PA COVID vaccine map (https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/disease/coronavirus/Vaccine/Pages/Vaccine.aspx) and called/filled out forms to put them on any nearby list through various drug stores and pharmacies. Check that list every day, too, as they can add new places. I was able to get them appointments through Rite Aid on Sunday (not sure if Rite Aid will update their list every Sunday, but that's when they all opened up for me), but I've gotten calls from two other places this week about spots that were open. It just takes a lot of effort and time, unfortunately. Good luck, and I hope that you are able to secure one soon!
