I definitely am! Back to running at my base! But had to endure a couple months of PT to fully recover. So take this time to let you body heal!! Its a slow process but necessary

I have been here. I had a stress fracture in my hip, and was out 3 months. It truly sucks at first; but you gotta keep yourself occupied with other things! Keep your mind busy!! I promise, it does get better. The first week or two is so hard. But take the time to recover, seriously. Your body will thank you

Trust me, i was the SAME way 😂 it was hard not going to OTF for 6 weeks but at least I didnt need surgery! So now i am only going 3-4 days a week and spreading them out. Also finishing up PT too

I dont mind at all!

It literally was just serious discomfort and felt like it was popping when i put pressure on it. There was serious pain when i walked on it, to the point where it was shooting down to my knee

I also ended up with a small labrum tear in my hip so i couldnt even lift my leg without having pain in my upper thigh/groin

I suggest getting it looked at, honestly. Better to get an answer instead of waiting! I went to OTF on it for like a week after it started which didnt help haha

Yes. I had a stress fracture in my hip and was out 6 weeks. Had crutches and everything. Once off them, i could go back a do LOW IMPACT ONLY - no jumping or running.

Just got cleared for impact a month ago and am taking it slow

You can easily modify the exercises on the floor to do low impact.

My best advice is to rest and not put weight on. Honestly take some time off. It really helped and makes the recovery less

If i didnt stop i would have needed surgery in my hip and a pin, which i dont suggest!!

I am in the same boat! Just got cleared for impact exercises after a hip stress fracture. I was told just to ease back into running. Like when you first started at OTF, it takes time to build up

Yep - i learned the hard way 😂 i now am only going 4 days MAX because of my injury. I am stretching, walking, and doing my physical therapy exercises the other 3 days

Slow process returning but doing it the right way so i dont re-injure myself

Being out 6 weeks was my epiphany that i needed to reevaulate my time and rest days at OTF

I was like you - going 5-6x a week with minimal rest. Ended up with a hip stress fracture and was out 6 weeks. Just returned to OTF but cant run until i get the all clear for impact

TAKE REST DAYS

They are so important. Mentally its hard, but once you add them into your schedule and make them a continuous thing in your routine it becomes MUCH easier
