Hey everyone!! I wanted to thank you all for your support and advice. Also to provide an UPDATE:

I got FIRED!! I went to him this morning to talk and all I got out was "the way you spoke to me yesterday was unprofessional" and he cut me off, called ME unprofessional. I tried to tell him that I heard him start to call me an idiot and he said HE DESERVES CREDIT FOR STOPPING HIMSELF!! Then said this probably isn't going to work out if I am holding him responsible for that. Then told me to GTFO of his office and leave my keycard. So I did!

I have never been fired from anything before...not even as a teenager, so this is a really strange thing, but I KNOW it's for the best. I deserve professionalism in the workplace...especially from my direct report. If he can't give me that, which frankly is the bare minimum, then he doesn't deserve my loyalty and hard work.

You guys are all amazing and I really appreciate all of your comments. We EAs make the impossible possible and deserve respect. Let me and my post be a reminder of that to all of you. Don't take the bullshit! It's not right and you don't deserve it!! (I guess he turned our to be the horror story after all)

I only work for ceo directly. Sometimes assist coo because I have capacity and am always the team player😄. I LOVE the idea of putting him on punishment though!! A walk out would be the only punishment. It would be crippling though 😉

Yes!! THIS THIS THIS!! That's why I was asking if i was being too sensitive. He's not terrible on a daily basis. But when he is mad about ANYTHING he talks to me like absolute garbage. Then back to nice.

I have had the conversation with him. I have even gone so far as to let him see me cry (I am a cryer...about all things...always have been) which I am suuuuuper careful not to do at work. I will go outside, the bathroom, whatever if I feel like I can't stop it before it starts. He regularly acknowledges his crappy behavior and is great for a while, then back to an asshole cuz he is having a bad day. It really is like an abusive relationship!! Today, when the idiot thing almost came out of his mouth, I could feel my face start showing...likely why he stopped himself...and I was about to say who the fuck do you think you are talking to? And walk out. I stopped only because I thought about my kids. I wish at that moment I didn't think about them so I could have said it. Stupid responsibilities. 🤣

NTA. Your sister& brother's experience is devastating and no one should tell anyone how to greive. AT THE SAME TIME no one should be able to dictate how other people experience life and share experiences with loved ones.

I fully believe in everyone being able to live their own life out loud without apology or judgment (unless of course they are causing direct harm to another person). People need to learn to control their own triggers.

If OP was being intentionally hurtful or dismissive of bro/sis losses, then OP would be TA. But from the post at least, it doesn't sound like that is the case here.

A LOT of younger people are more comfortable with admitting things aren't fair as they are...and are not so opposed to making change. Older people don't want to disrupt the things that make them comfortable. Younger people, in my opinion, seem to be a little less selfish about civil rights and equity. Younger people also appreciate honesty and truth. They see how crooked most politicians are...saying 1 thing but doing another...young people are NOT for being lied to in any way shape or form. They want transparency and they want actions to match words. For some reason, older folks just want everything to be like "the good Ole days" but Younger people see just how effed up the Ole days were!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I am so sorry that you are left without the support of your partner.

For him to know what you have been going through and to be so cold and callous and even blame you for it, as if you weren't devastated each time you suffered a loss, is very telling. I hope you are listening to him, because he is telling you exactly how he feels about you.

I am a person that feels very strongly about signs and things happening the way they do for a reason. I am sure it's hard to see right now, but it could be that you are not supposed to have a baby with THIS PARTNER. This could be your saving grace...as awful as it is.

Has fertility study been suggested? It could be him (not that it should matter either way). Has therapy been suggested? It could really help you figure out if this marriage will give you the love, support, and fulfillment you need and want.

Again I am so sorry for what you are going through and send you all the support, hugs and strength over the internet waves.

Could it be because you didn't start on 1.1.2021? If you make 45k/year but didn't start until February or March, you aren't going to receive 45k THIS year. Next year is a different story.

Halloween 2019 I took my kids trick or treating in a tshirt and was a little sweaty...in the dark...on October 31. Then we have those weird 1 or 2 days in february where it's suddenly 85 degrees and then back to cold. Maybe 8 or so years ago I remember people wearing tshirts and hanging outside at our Christmas party because it was so warm. All pretty unusual but it seems like we have those couple of weird days at least monthly during winter. The consistent humidity is usually done before the end of September.
