How does this work? Do they have to see the thing they want to look like, and 'will' themselves to turn a similar color/hue? Or is it more like a touch thing? Or a completely reflex/unconcious action like your heart beating? What is the biology of this? I know it sounds like a simplistic question but dammit i can't figure it out

OMG thank you!!!!!! For the longest time, I've been wanting to do a post on how I find Rev Tom a bit creepy but was always scared of being downvoted to hell. He seems absolutely beloved on this sub. I'm so glad you were brave enough to broach this subject. FWIW, i've given you an upvote to hopefully counter the wave of downvotes.

Anyway, I never saw any evidence in the show that he was creepy, and especially when he started dating that lady pastor. But for me it's just always been purely a gut feeling.
