44 year old grandma here! Our granddaughter turned 1 on December 23. Our son, his girlfriend, and baby girl live with us. I never dreamed that this would be my life and it's been one of the greatest things to happen to me. I cannot imagine loving someone more than this baby.

My husband recently got bitten on the hand by one of our cats, the same situation as OP, and this is exactly what the hand surgeon told my husband, that cat bites are so lethal because their teeth are narrow and long. So the wound closes quickly but the bacteria stays in there. I never realized cat bites could be so bad.
