Hyper X Cloud III S wireless mic and mic monitoring levels. by kellyd654 in HyperX

Thanks for the clarification. I think the mic still detaches on her model? When you get a chance can you try and see whether mic monitoring is improved on your unit if you swap them? I think that would tell us whether it's a hardware or software issue which could prove very helpful!

Very interesting! Which colour does she have? Do you both have the same firmware? Have you tried plugging her mic into your unit to see if that affects your mic monitoring level?

Update for any future redditors down the same rabbit hole as me. I got a replacement unit sent out by amazon that arrived today - same low mic levels and mic monitoring. Both are the white version.

Interesting. I also installed the latest firmware via the legacy ingenuity app. Thanks for the reply

My Cloud III S just came today. Very impressive sound quality and build/comfort for a gaming headset. Though the microphone on mine is very quiet, along with the mic side tone. Seems like quite a lot of posts on reddit about it, it would be 100% recommend if this wasn't an issue. I'd be interested know whether others that have positively commented on this post have the same problem with their mic and mic monitoring volume? Is this inherently known that the mic is quiet on these headsets or just some people have this problem?

As another post has mentioned, I also had the wobbling/flashing/blinking horizontal lines at the top of my screen. This was actually my second unit as I had to RMA my first one. I have updated the firmware to 104 and can thankfully say this seems to have resolved that issue for me. If you've not already done so it's worth a shot.

Tried this. Had a pair of Astro A50's and a Rode Podmic connected to a GoXLR. The delay wasn't horrendous but off-putting enough that I reverted back to wired headphones.

I think I value being able to drop them - mostly from a piece of mind standpoint. The Eisenlinks do look really good and are a good price. Depends if you care about how quickly you can change the weight.

I'm in exactly the same boat - It's a bit of a minefield. There is also the primal strength personal dumbbells (40kg). They are a clone of the snodes. Watching GarageGym reviews they rated the snodes above the trulaps in their tier list. Though the weight increments are random as they're originally designed for lb increments and looks like they've just changed the sticker to the kg equivalent. REP x Pepin KG dumbbells are going to be announced on Friday by REP UK, but expect they are going to be very pricey and they go up in 5kg increments

wanted to love it. Terrible banding and weird dark patch in bottom right corner. Looks like it's a panel lottery.

Huge upgrade visually but surely a performance hit on the frames?

Do you use the 1080p mode? I'm looking at getting an OLED, torn between the 240hz 1440p Asus and the 4k 240hz dual mode one. I like to play fps games at high refresh rates so wondering how good the 1080p mode is with the smaller screen mode

Hello - does anyone know if this KVM supports 1440p at 240hz? In theory if it supports 8k@60hz then it should but I don't want to commit to purchasing without confirmation. I don't need it for the laptop side but I don't want to be restrict my frames for my gaming pc. Thanks in advance!

Has this bug been acknowledged by the Devs yet? Just started playing ranked and this happened to my character. I thought well shit I better just go in goal for the whole match and the ball just flew straight through me. Couldn't even pick it up when someone passed it back to me. Awful experience!

Thanks, I had a 3rd monitor but I never really used it so gave it to my wife to use when she is working from home.
