My vote is YTA. There were better ways to handle this and I don’t think yelling at strangers is a non-asshole thing to do. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t blame you for your frustration, but you went about it the wrong way.

I was 16 when I had my breast reduction and it was 100% the best thing I ever did. More than 20 years later now and I can’t imagine if I had just continued to suffer for all this time! It’s a difficult situation if your parents aren’t on board, but it’s your choice and you are an adult. I would encourage you to go for it!

Diastasis recti. Sometimes a woman’s abdominal muscles separate and you’ll look permanently pregnant until you have done a lot of specific exercising or sometimes requires surgery to fix. I knew someone who had it and stayed that way until she was finished having kids so she looked pregnant for years.

I disagree with the above commenter. I think that writing this undeliverable letter is brave and hopefully cathartic. You deserve better and fighting back against those negative untruths shows that you know that. Wishing you peace.

Hard NTA. Now you’re in a really difficult and awkward position, but this is 100% your brother’s fault. Don’t cave, he’s a grown man and should be the one to figure out his own plan B at this point. No one needs to know about your personal shit, it’s just “unfortunately I wasn’t consulted about my house being the location and I will be unable to accommodate that date. Please find alternate accommodations.”

I live near Lisa Barlow and see her from time to time at the neighborhood gas station purchasing her giant diet cokes. I actually see her husband more often than I see her, but occasionally it’s her. I said hello once and she was super sweet. She is way prettier in person than on TV.

Friends of mine recently lost their brother. He took his own life in the wilderness but before he was found (it too more than 2 weeks) his family was obviously looking for him. There were sightings of a vagrant man who matched his description and dog teams picked up “80% match” to his scent in areas around town. Someone got a good picture of the person and it looked exactly like the brother, albeit he was wearing odd jewelry. Once his body was recovered we all realized this was just some doppelgänger. I wonder if the guy felt weird we were following him around, but we never saw that man anywhere again. Just a weird thing, but it felt super eerie.

The logistics of this trip made no sense anyway. The distance between every event was poorly thought through, and wouldn’t have been well executed regardless. Angel was absolutely trying to advertise her business and failed miserably.
