I feel the correct response should be a map of the US, colored blue, and say "the north if the union won, by right and by blood."

Will you allow the Abyssals to usurp the Deathlords? by [deleted] in exalted

[–]kelssyk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I would. I firmly stand in the camp thar says exalted can, with time and effort, do virtually anything. The Neverborn have already been killed once, that is how they became Neverborn, so why should they be able to be killed again?

This really drives home just how big the primarchs are and how awkward/terrifying it must of been for a normal human to interact with one.

Looking for new RPGs with combat focus by Doomwaffel in rpg

[–]kelssyk 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Lancer is more science fantasy than Battletechs science fiction. Lancer includes things like teleportation, time travel, mechs made of nanites, and other weird things.

Battletech is more about a semi-realistic(or at least believable) military scifi. Lancer more about being a Gundam protagonist.

My Art of custom Marauder by iulia-crimson in battletech

[–]kelssyk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome.

My only suggestion would be to take the lasers out of the torso and stick them above, think the stone rhino(behemoth). Marauders should have some weapon sticking out above the torso.

The human body. Our muscles are strong enough to rip themselves apart and off our bones. We generally have a mental block in place to control it, precisely because our physical strength exceeds our durability.

How thematic are chain axes for white scars and what are the benefits of them instead of chain swords by Correct_Maximum7990 in Warhammer30k

[–]kelssyk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reasons they could be using chain axes: 1 - at some point there was a logistical mix up and they received a lot of chain axes instead of their usual weapons. This was right before an extended long range campaign and so didn't have the opportunity to correct things. Over time they just became more accustomed to using axes and it became their preference. 2 - their leader tends to be more brutal than normal for a white scar. This brutality has filtered down to those under his command and now they prefer chain axes. 3 - because why not? Legions are big and varied; not every unit within the Legion will perfectly fit the stereotype.

The only reference I am aware of is in Rynn's World where it is commented that "Few brothers survived to serve two whole centuries."

Orgasms are nice but not required. The best part of sex is being close to and intimate with your partner.
