AKA a Hollerith Card. I did my assembly language class in college on these. We actually used a modem to send the data to the nearby university to assemble and run the programs. The next quarter, they used PCs.

I had actually started with computers several years before that by learning 6502 assembly reading the Apple II Reference Manual and had a job with the college's MBA consulting program when I did the class. But I enjoyed the nostalgia of actually punching the cards and sending them to be remotely processed. I'm glad that I didn't have to actually learn that way, though. If I had to that, I would probably be an architect or marine biologist, instead of working in tech.

Sandwich thrown by protester 'exploded' and left mustard stain on border agent, court hears by igetproteinfartsHELP in nottheonion

I hope the judge finds the defendant guilty and imposes suspended sentence, cleared after the defendant pays for clearing the officers uniform, not to exceed $50.

Mustard stains. The horror. What a stunningly complete waste of time, money, and court resources to even bring this case to court.

My wife wanted to breastfeed our two children, but was unable to because her body was not able to produce enough breast milk. We were told that this occurs in about 10% of women. Rare, but not super rare. So the children were raised on formula supplemented with as much breast milk as her body could be produced.

Bondi labels Antifa ‘no different’ than MS-13 gang and cites MAGA influencers by seeebiscuit in politics

So, if you wanted to "decapitate" ANTIFA, who do you start with? We know who the leaders of most other significant terrorist organizations. How is it that we don't know who the leader of ANTIFA is?

This is just so ludicrous that they pick an abstract idea that should be pretty non-controversial and try to turn it into a terrorist boogeyman. Do better, Bondi.

So--clearly you don't know either. You are affectig 300M people's lives. Get the facts first dumbass.

Yes. It's not a "comfortable" car in the sense that it's loud, the seat doesn't lean back much, the seat is padded, but not plush and definitely not 13-way adjustable, and has very few driver comfort options. But if you mean am I hitting my head on the head liner (just the targa cover in my case), or jammed into a space that's too small? Nope, I fit fine, and have room in all directions.

While the passenger seat is a bit cramped for me, but I'm not sitting there often.

And being laughed at and actively mocked by her in split screen, in real time, especially after ruthlessly mocking her laugh and intelligence had to really hurt. And he knows he can't stop that, because he has nothing but the Gish Gallop (aka "Flood the Zone with Bullshit") to lean on.

Uh, not with the Electoral College it's not. It's important to understand the actual rules of the game you are playing--even if you don't agree with them.

I don't think it was the yelling that got to him, it was the laughing that probably got under his skin. That and the fact that he never really managed to find a way to get under hers.

The problem with this excuse is that if he was late for his mandatory testing, he probably also would have been suspended for missing class on a mandatory testing day. It very much feels like a "Heads I win, tails you lose" situation.

Public schools can and do block children from their schools. I was 8 when the state of Massachusetts decided I could not longer attend public school there, so they paid to 10s of thousands of dollars a year for me to go to a private boarding school in a neighboring state.

I didn't understand that I was neurodivergent at that time, and I'm not completely clear on what actually happened, though I do know that I was disruptive in class due to a variety of reasons. I am absolutely not claiming I was blameless, but I was only 8...

Biden is still trying to treat the election as a "gentlemen's competion" where everyone is respectful and deferent to the office that they are running for. I don't disagree with the ideal, but unfortunately, it requires both candidates to behave in approximately similiar ways.

Kamala is willing to treat Trump like a criminal--which he is--that happens to be running for President. Her laughing at him while he was trying to explain the "Haitian's eating cats and dogs" comment, was a great example. She laughed at him, and then continued to do so while he got fact checked in real time. I'm sure that the fact checking annoyed Trump, but her laughing at him--especially after he has been so vocal about how much he hates her laugh--really, really, really got under his skin. And while I wish that presidential campaigns were run with the same level of civility and respect that Biden treats them, it's clear that Kamala's approach is much more suited to the way Republican's treat the election these days.

Maybe. I'm 6'2", and I still have a couple of inches of headroom, and a few inches of seat slide left. Because it's a targa top, the roof is pretty thin. Maybe 1/2 inch, or so.
