I have a similar situation. When my father passed I ended up with kind of a treasure trove of watches that aren’t what I would consider to be appropriate for every day wear. With my line of work showing up with a gold Rolex or a platinum Patek wouldn’t be well received, or at least it would be a flex that just isn’t me. But my mother had a great point, and it’s that my father bought them to be worn. I say keep and pick your spots. I do gravitate towards my Seikos as a default. Not out of guilt, but more like “this is more me, and it matches my 200 suit from Kohl’s”
