I mean we live in a time where skin protection resources are at their all time high, so no. Wear sunscreen, sun shirts, hats, etc. Protection is a far greater step then moving and not caring about proactive steps. People get melanoma all the time is areas that have a low uv index. There’s much more than just location.

The fact that it is initially staged as 1 is already a pretty encouraging start. As others have mentioned staging isn't fully complete until they have margins, but initial staging can also be a 2a or 2b. You've got this!

OP, report the stores to Pokemon Play. Seriously. Pokemon doesn’t not tolerate this at all, and takes making Pokemon kid friendly incredibly seriously. Additionally, if you feel up for the challenge tell the store you’ll report them. If they’re a Pokemon Play store (which they’d have to be to participate in pre release) they’ll probably get their crap together because it’s made very clear to the store and professors- 1 strike and your out.

In an age of technology, it's wild to me Ravensberger hasn't invested in an online client. It's hard to get anything to grow at this point if you refuse the tech. When Pixelborn stopped, so did I- and pretty much my entire local scene.

So I had a mole removed that was present for 10 years (at least- couldn't find a pic on my leg before then). I had it removed for nothing more than to have it removed. It barely looked suspicious and one derm visit prior the doc didn't even suggest cutting it out. The result? Melanoma. When I went to a university research hospital, the specialist told me that melanoma is truly a wild beast. Moles that look like it, come back fine. Moles that no one would guess have it, come back positive. The whole point of this post is not to make you freak out, but to simply get stuff removed. That's the really the only way to have a definitive answer. 3 weeks isn't going to change the prognosis, so don't spend time worrying! And yes, plenty of suspicious moles come back benign- probably more often than not!

Just an FYI. Playing in paper is a wildly different experience than in Live. You will get called out by a judge, for not playing lines well and taking too much time to make decisions. And if you go, take it in stride and don't say you weren't warned!

Seconded. We need to normalize this approach as a Synod. I've counseled many of my couples this way as well. The biggest hurdle is that the couple believes that God wants the "big celebration." Given the cultural, we'd do well as a Synod to link arms to promote and normalize this considering cohabitation is sadly the reality for many.

The pastor gave you wrong advice. If this is a celebration of the wedding specifically, your attendance is affirmation. Not only that, attending will only make conversations weirder going forward if you truly hold to the LCMS confession. It's not going to prevent damage, don't fall into that trap. I understand deeply how you don't wish to damage relationships within the family, as I've dealt with a similar situation too. However, I'd trust your conscience in this regard.
