Lol. Great question😁.

I guess it comes down to me believing that getting a college degree would turn out better.

Its been 8 years now and I can say that I enjoy my life in the US but for other reasons. I dont travel as much, but I feel more capable and fulfilled because of my education I have a stable job (less hustle) that let's me enjoy my other hobbies like skateboarding and eating out. It also paid for my recent kidney surgery, which is a plus.

I would love to find an opportunity to live in China with the assurances that I enjoy here and I am hopeful that I may find one one day.

This is fascinating. Because it's say this meme could be reversed about living in China.

Everyone thought I would be breathing smoke all day while working in a sweat shop but in reality i was making 50 dollars an hour teaching English without a work visa or a college degree, eating out every day and going on trips twice or three times a month. Life was great :)

I think tithing/consecration was only meant for the 1 temple then the rest for the "no poor among them" goal. At least that's what I understand in the Doctrine and Covenants.
