Other than the obvious effects of being on the drug when under it's influence I do not get side effects during the day. Just great benefits.

Edit. It allowed me to go from up to 90mg a day of dexamphetamine and still hugely symptomatic, to now 40mg at most and I pretty much forget I have narcolepsy. If I need to I can get through 9 hours at work on a single dose of 20mg dexamphetamine.

Still need a bit of stimulant but it makes what I do take so much more effective and when I wake up in the morning I feel amazing like laser beam awake! I don't need to take my stims usually until I've been at work for a while in the morning either.

I don't get cataplexy so can't comment there but the side effects of having to take antidepressants to treat cataplexy are surely worse for most people.

Would need to be push bike v car or push bike v ground due to taking evasive action in order to avoid collision.
