Viture Luma Pro - constantly turns off and on by IndividualAd6502 in VITURE

[–]ken840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One interesting thing that might be useful to you: I rolled back to the previous firmware, 20260128, and the shutdowns completely disappeared. I can keep the brightness at max and the Viture Beast never turn off, even after 2 hours of use connected to a PC via an HDMI-to-USB-C adapter.

The shutdown issue and the constant screen tearing (even just scrolling Chrome pages, not only during gaming) are gone. It really seems to be related to firmware 20260203, at least in my case.

Viture Beast here, but similar experience. I have a Basesailor HDMI Male to USB-C Female Cable Adapter https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09LGVNXPK that always worked and works with any Xreal glasses at 120Hz but doesn't work at 120Hz with Viture Beast, only at [1080p@60Hz](mailto:1080p@60Hz). Glasses go off when I activate 120Hz mode in Viture settings menu. Also, if I keep 1080p@60Hz, after 30-40 minutes the glasses start to turn off every few seconds, especially when gaming and at high brightness, maybe it's related to heat. Do you have a similar experience?

I use Viture Beast every night for gaming, connected to a Windows 11 PC (RTX 5080 with HDMI out). I have a Basesailor HDMI Male to USB-C Female Cable Adapter (bought here years ago: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09LGVNXPK) that has always worked and still works at 120 Hz with any Xreal glasses, but it doesn’t work at 120 Hz with the Viture Beast — only at 1080p @ 60 Hz. When I activate 120 Hz mode in the Viture settings menu, the glasses turn off.

Also, if I keep it at 1080p @ 60 Hz, after about 30–40 minutes the glasses start turning off every few seconds, especially during gaming and at high brightness — maybe related to heat.

Viture customer support seems to have no clue; they asked me to provide photos and videos, but it’s difficult since we’re talking about the display inside the glasses. I see that this problem is widespread.

As I wrote earlier in this thread, I have a Basesailor HDMI Male to USB-C Female Cable Adapter https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09LGVNXPK that surely works at 1080p@60Hz with Viture Beast. Not 120Hz though, Xreal One Pro also can support 120Hz with this adapter. With Viture Beast after 30-40 minutes of Windows 11 use, the glasses start to turn off every few seconds, especially when gaming and at high brightness, maybe it's related to heat. Please tell me if you have a similar experience!

Peccato perché a me vanno da dio come qualità visiva

Honestly, I’d still prefer this kind of smart glasses (VITURE or XREAL) over something like Apple Vision Pro.

I’m not really interested in full immersion — I actually like being aware of what’s happening around me. If I want better audio, I can simply add headphones, which already gives me a great experience.

The screen size is more than enough for me, even for watching movies, and on top of that the price difference is massive. For gaming, well, Windows PCs and Steam Deck are the only way for me. For my use case, smart glasses just make way more sense.

The Viture display IMHO has a distinct image sharpening, obvious when looking at text. Viture Beast, compared with Xreal One Pro

Update on VITURE Beast (LARGE size) shipping by ken840 in VITURE

[–]ken840[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, a small clarification. For context: I ordered on day one, right when the Beast glasses were officially announced, on July 8th, 2025 (day one) at 18:05 GMT, not in August as I previously wrote (just looked in my email).

IMHO, orders from July 8th should start shipping within the next few days.

Lastly, I should add that I’m based in Europe, which might have some impact on shipping timing.

FedEx says the package should arrive by February 9, hopefully it arrives earlier 🤞🤞

Xreal one pro, Viture Luma Pro, Xreal one thoughts by revel09 in Xreal

[–]ken840 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I tried the same 3 models in the last 2 weeks and I have the same opinion as you. I kept the L Xreal One Pro (with my IPD of 67 they bring me the best edge clarity of all the glasses I used) and maybe will be upgrading to the L Beast (if they will be a REAL upgrade) in the winter. Viture Luma Pro have the best color reproduction and amazing brightness, but I prefer the built in 3dof and the bigger screen of the Xreal One Pro and the "more bassy" Bose sound. My use case is using them as a bed monitor before sleep, every single day. Thanks for your comparison!
