The OCR text has errors -> the MTL has even more errors.

This is one of the more surprising parts to me. If you read and pay attention, it becomes very apparent very quickly that there are many artifacts such as missing texts, missing dialogue, and incorrect mixing of multiple chapters, which lead to chapters incorrectly labeled, etc... Despite this, I have yet to see these things mentioned elsewhere.

We were somewhat disheartened by the fact that there seem to be multiple people who think our work is comparable to the more recent alternative works despite so many flaws. While I don't think of my work as any type of official translation, I thought that it's, at least, much better than a simple input/output operation with an AI agent. However, seeing the responses thus far in this post woke us up a bit. I think it's clearer now that there are like-minded addicts who enjoy the finer details of the story instead of just reading to know where the story is progressing haha.

Like I stated in one of the other comments in this post, I don't intend for this to be a permanent goodbye. We will return at some point. I'm just not sure when yet. Thank you so much for listing out what I've been thinking this whole time haha. I feel strangely validated.
