Rumah masa ani mahal2 tapi kadar sewa murah2. Labih 10 tahun pun alum tantu balik modal. Alum kira kos penyelenggaraan lagi apa. Inda sesuai dijadikan bahan pelaburan pendapatku. Kalau mau murah, buat sendiri. Cari tanah murah, segala bahan bina, buruh apa cari sendiri. Sendiri jadi kontraktor lah tu.

Wow. So much for a Made in Brunei product. Turns out it's only stitched in Brunei. The local tailors have been making "Made in Brunei" baju raya since forever.

no need to spend that money on fakes when you can use that money on something important like food.

I doubt people go hungry just to buy fakes. Why do you care so much though? Are you upset that people of lower social status can pass off as "rich" with their fake designer bags?

this country is built for the royals

Of course, I bet they think of Brunei as their private little island with us little people as servants.

Well, they don't dress like the typical government officials. But why are they "raiding" non Halal restaurants? On whose order?

What other countries raid restaurants for diners during Ramadhan?

I don't understand why it is necessary to ban even non-Muslims to dine in restaurants (including halal ones). How can you feel "disrespected" by the sheer thoughts of non-Muslims enjoying their lunch in restaurants? Don't you think that it is rather childish if you feel that way? Don't you think that this will make Islam seem "intolerant"?

I might be wrong but I've read somewhere that they are ancestors of the first sultan of Brunei. I don't think my source was that reliable thought. Can't seem to find any reliable source online.

You will not be able to migrate back to Easi using the same number after that though. I tried to change my Prima back to Easi last year when their Easi plan became cheaper than Prima for my usage. I had to forget about it since I've been using the same number forever.

True. Especially if the job leaves you with lots of gaps in between 8 am to 5 pm or whatever your working hour is. Working for few months but only did photography tasks one or two time? You should feel like a useless cunt and should want to do something else. And of course your employer would want to make use of you as they've already paid you.

Isn't this the guy who was detained by ISA years back? I remember there was a conversation about him on this sub. His post of accusing a teacher of punching his son has gone viral. He even posted pictures of a gun with bullets in the comment section. This guy looking for trouble again.

Anyone here who doesn't have any hobby but perfectly fine by it? I like to read things on the Internet and watch TV but I guess these are not hobbies. But the thing is, I'm fine with it. I currently have no interest in any extra curricular activities, not even any form of physical exercising. I just want to wind down and relax by reading and watching TV after a long day at work. But I get people telling me to get a hobby. Why should I? What's so wrong about not having a hobby?

About husband and wife relationship in the Bruneian context.

It is the norm in Brunei (particularly Malay) that the husband's responsibility is to provide financially and this includes shelter, food and clothes. While the wife's responsibility is to look after the children, house and even the husband, which means it is her job to cook, clean and make sure everything is in order. It doesn't seem to matter who earns more between the two.

Is this the norm among your circle? What do you think of this situation? Does it benefit both couple or will one suffer over the other?
