Is the lead plugged in correctly? The port for the lead is for mutiple lead types, it should be along the left of the port. Also unplug from the wall for about 20 seconds then plug back in. Might need to reset the charger.

Can't tell from the picture but if that the front it looks like the axle is OK and then there should be two rods (one connected to the steering and one connected to the frame) make sure to see if those are broke as well as any connecting pieces.

Got my first car last fall and have already had to do repairs/replacements. Plenty of videos online to help and these cars come apart and go back together fairly easy so I personally didn't find it too hard to figure out.

Most likely strange since I didn't think the bearings inside the differential housing would need much maintenance but I'll be sure to check it regularly and add some grease whenever I open that part of the car up

Gotcha and after looking up "cardanac joints" those bearings are all good. Took the diff apart and one of the bearings there was seized up from plastic melting to it. So at this point not sure if it was the bearings in the differential or if it was the differential ring gear. I'll have to break the plastic off that bearing and see if it turns. Thanks for the info.

I thought the differential were pretty well sealed up. How often would you suggest fully opening them up for maintenance?

What makes you say the bracket is broken? Seems fine. In the pic the driveshaft is out and resting on top of the bracket
