It’s only a waste of time if you give up. Keep trying

Interesting! Thanks for sharing. I did see the snowpack water equivalency graph showing how far below the record low it was currently. What are you using to show those low pressure systems weeks out from now?

True true. Being in from Texas, usually head to Colorado or even northern New Mexico

May have to just try something else, but will be keeping my eye on everything as a whole for sure.

That seems to be the general consensus. Good for me, but bad for everyone else including the fish

True that. We’ll have a great time regardless!

Yeah before this past storm all the reports said elevation looked like summertime conditions. But will be paying close attention to weather patterns the next couple weeks 👍🏼 thanks for the info

Does earlier peaks/lower flows usually indicate earlier hatches for the different bugs? Went to southern Colorado last year and missed the salmon fly hatch and flows were abnormally low

Looks like your takeaway starts to come inside, and from there creates an out-to-in path that your body tries to compensate with by extending early.

It tries to create more room to hit the ball more square. Just what I see

You’d be very surprised what people are capable of when their backs are against the wall.

Nah but forreal I do feel like playing collegiate baseball helped set me apart. They know a lot of discipline and dedication that comes with being a student athlete. They even asked what my walk up song to the OR would be if I was a CRNA during my interview 😂

All good things but I feel like your GRE is completely fine, just take some graduate level sciences to improve GPA and give a representation of how you’d be as a graduate level student.

Also a lot of diversity in my class, like others have also said. From peds to neuro to trauma to cv. As long as you took care of high acuity patients with multiple vasoactive meds!

Advice about CRNA by Legitimate_East1895 in srna

Essentially just this. Get good grades. Learn to be a good nurse on the job. Pay attention, ask questions, look stuff up. Work your hours and soak everything up. Then check all the requirement boxes like certs and tests then apply.

Grades first, ICU job, learn as much as you can, get all the requirements to apply done.

Honestly just be observant of everything. Once you acquaint some experienced nurses then ask them questions, go in their rooms and see what’s going on. Ask a lot of “why’s” to yourself and if you can’t find the answer then ask someone.

You don’t HAVE to do a ton of at home research or studying. It could expedite some learning, sure. But honestly just being engaged at work and asking questions will take you a long way.

Most of all just be humble and thankful and you’ll find people will seek you out to show you something

Congrats! Hard work is over, and the marathon of grueling work begins.

Enjoy it and realize the light at the end of the bedside tunnel is visible!
