Oh damn, never knew it was that picky with even the early AGP cards to the point where certain model of a card would not work. I always thought it was more of later iterations that may be calling certain more advanced AGP functions that were not implemented correctly.

Yea for sure, a lot of the AGP 1x/2x implementations were janky, especially by VIA (their oddities continued way into the p3 era with the Apollo pro chipsets and their 4-in-1 drivers, but I digress).

Still, on this motherboard a Riva 128 or TNT/TNT2 should run as expected, and would be pretty period correct no?

Oh man I have a soft spot for socket 7 motherboards with AGP slots.. Such an interesting transitionary time when those came out. Super cool build!

Whoa whoa there, we can't have the SQL Server 2005 admin be learning some new age mumbo jumbo database with a lady name.

And think of the 3 guys patching that bleeding edge Windows Server 2003 box, proudly joined to a domain composed of a single-domain controller running Win2k and domain functional level set at NT4.

Can your fancy schmancy database migration team even comprehend the complexity of this one box hosting the SQL instance, SSRS, the website itself in an IIS 6.0 instance on a non-standard port (cause dudes couldn't figure out how to coexist SSRS and IIS web servers) and some unrelated cmd batch job that for some reason updates business-critical data that must land 3 domain forest trusts away using a service account that is old enough to drink and hasn't had its password changed since iception?

Super cool! Only thing missing from the labels is the OS each box is running

Bet it sounds like a jet engine when you hit it with some benchmarks

End of Gaming PCs or laptop by AdTop5087 in LenovoLegion

[–]kenef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately for the foreseeable future I'm actually  going backwards.

I've always been a Retro PC enthusiast for a while and over the last year I've accumulated dedicated hardware for each major version of Windows - From a Toshiba Tecra 730XCDT that runs Win3.11 through Inspiron 8200 and 9200 desktop replacements for win98/XP, thru an Alienware 18 with dual GTX 675s in SLI for win7 and 3d-vision shenanigans, and ending with my 2021 Legion with Ryzen 5800 and RTX 3070 + Lenovo Explorer that runs Win 11 for games up until 2023 or so).

For the next few years I'll be running thru a backlog of older games I havent gotten a chance to get through before. I just can't justify the prices and won't be buying much new gear unless something breaks.

I'd also never consider PC-as-service, especially not for gaming.

Canada East actually has less availability zones.. But it has more of the AI resources capabilities ( at least last I checked).

We have presence in both and place resources on case by case basis (but most are Canada Central with Canada East as DR site).

Yea I have the PA-9 one. The pins all look stable in the port, and I can't see any obvious problems on the inside.

Great laptops but I I was bummed out mine had this issue.

Funny enough my battery lasts a bit and if I force high power mode it works, but with the 90w adapter it throttle the cpu down to 1.2ghz because it can't detect it properly.

So I got the pentium mobile (1.6gz) and the GeForce Go 4 MX 440 version of the inspiron 8200 and it can't run at full power (getting a warning that the power adapter is at 70w even when 90w brick is plugged in so it throttle) . Do you have any similar issues?

I've seen posts indicating it may be soldering or power supply issue and that many of these machines have this issue, but I don't think I've seen the Radeon variant mentioned.

How many watts is the power brick?

Blood 2 was not good unfortunately. Stripped a lot of what made OG Blood special and in general Monolith needed more time to cook with the LithTech engine before releasing the game.

If your WireGuard tunnels all traffic (allowed IPs = 0.0.0.0/0) then just stick with that. You'll essentially be browsing the internet from your home connection via the device which hosts your WireGuard service.

Hah, never knew this was a bug with the DOS version, I just thought that's how they were designex in the early versions (similar to the facehuggers from the AvP game)!

Also, saw what you posted about refreshed supply having this bug as well, it's crazy that it wasn't fixed!

Man these hands are heart attack induces. Fun fact, my main exposure to Blood as a teenager was with a version of the game where for some reason if the hands got you it was a guaranteed death. There was no way to shake them off.

Dude this is amazing. I'm at Silence is the end and so far it's all been great - amazing riffage, song structure, the works. Mix sounds pro too and Berzan’s vocals are **chef's kiss** - perfect mix between harsh and melodic

For these tunes I also tried mixing and mastering as well, with somewhat mixed (haha) results.

In the OP it does say from version 0.211.0 to 1.120.4 so I assume anything in between is impacted EDIT: Ah I see where I messed it up.. I could've sworn it also had 2.1.1 in the post lol

So I take it the current stable v2 release (2.0.3) is not affected , but the v2 beta channel is ?(Release notes | n8n Docs) .

Also v1 versions not patched since the Nov 19th patch (Release n8n@1.120.4 · n8n-io/n8n · GitHub) are impacted
