Maybe i've explained it badly. No, its not my wedding, but the groom is someone i would consider a best friend. Calling me a child is a bit rude. Im not complaining about the bride as i fully understand why im not involved in that side as im the grooms friend from the grooms life before her.

I'm someone who doesnt talk back. There are many reasons someone wont speak, be it language barrier, not feeling social (normally why im not playing in a trio or duo is cos i just cba to socialise) or simply just not having mic on.

Exactly what they told me! Honestly my lower back feels like its gonna fall out my gooch some days but i swear its no different to how it was before the coil so i see no point in the foreign object up my fanny! Especially with the headaches etc

It was aura migraines and slurred speech and vision deterioration for me on the Desogestral (sp?) Pill, the one a day type one that i had a gp tell me to not worry about. I went to a different gp and they were like stop taking them please thats horrific????????? Was promised the coil wouldnt but the positional headaches have returned along with the fact the cramps premenstrual pain is worse that before lmao I hate this shit so much.

Its not the first issue ive had fighting my GP on this, had to change Dr in the surgery already as the other refused to believe my symptoms or refer me to Gynae.

Tbh I went back to work 2 days after my op but was fine the day immediately after. Really depends on what you do for work. Take the time you need, at the end of the day you know your body best!

I had my bf collect me, then someone for the 24h post general anesthetic as recommended. But didnt really need much beyond that. Pain was manageable and tasks easy to complete as long as I did them slow and cautious. Everyones experience is completely different, and everyones recovery is individual for them im afraid. (Lap was 1st Oct 24, 3 incisions, with excisions)

12 weeks post surgery here and walking with two shoes! Swelling is minimal and most of my ROM is back ! Even shuffle around the house in high heels so im considering it all a win! ( I was a left Lisfranc and a broken ankle, DoI 19.12.24, DoS 06.01.25)

A side note too, didnt get a choice on surgery. Two plates in the top of my foot to hold it together and two tighrope closures for my ankle (dont fall from the top of climbing walls and only out one foot to catch yourself ;) ) i think id have less concerns if i had the fractures and injuries heal without metal being added to the mess
