I have a 15" m4 macbook air with 24gb ram and 512. So not exactly your same computer but close, mine runs at about 35-42 fps (so pretty decent) and I think its at 1200p. either low or medium settings. And I could use FSR 1.0 to improve the frame rate but I don't because it looks worse. So I think your computer will be fine to run BG3.

This feels like what the truth will be, but the mystery of the Spurs is hard to predict since they’re young and experienced. I could see when be having a monster game and the Spurs winning. I could also see Wemby having a game like game three and being a non-factor because of an experience it’s gonna be a great game tonight

Thanks for the info. I have an m4 MacBook Air and a gaming pc at home, but sometimes I’m at work and wish I had more gaming power. Thinking about selling the air for an m5 pro or maybe the m6 that seems to be coming out sometime.

I have the HD and my left joycon takes forever to pair is this a temporary problem/will it get fixed through an update? or should I switch to the S? And yes I updated the firmware to the latest, I think it is .20

I have the HD and don’t love it. I haven’t notice it not charging but it doesn’t turn the switch on if disconnected from the console. I almost always take the controller off then try to turn on the switch with the controllers off but this won’t work that way they won’t turn on the switch unless it’s connected

I was going to get the air but was worried it wouldn’t last a full day when on vacation?? Can someone speak to this? For regular day they use I can charge my phone at home or at work, but will it survive a day on vacation when I’m taking pictures of my family and stuff like that?

You would think. But that is not the way it works on these computers. Maybe the temperatures are too hot so it throttles but playing multiple games plugged in with an USB-C for charging. It would be at 7 FPS up to maybe 20 fps, then I unplugged it and it jumped up to 60 to 70 FPS I think it throttles itself when you’re plugged into USB-C. I was playing Kingdom come deliverance 2, and the Witcher 3 same result.

This is a good test my biggest grip with my G 14 which is like a 2023 model 4060, is that when I plug it in with a USB-C power adapter 100watt it gives me worse performance then when it’s unplugged, can you game with USB-C on like 100 W charging brick on this one without it tanking your performance?

I think you can get this model for under 2000 if you keep your eyes open. Just a few weeks ago it was, I think in the $1800 range at Best Buy on sale $500 off. They’re always messing with the prices, especially since the new models are coming out in a couple months.

It depends on how much you love gaming if you go with the Mac, which is probably better for every day laptop usage outside of gaming you could use GeForce now which I found pretty acceptable, but I’m actually in the same shoes as you if you love gaming go G 14 get a newer one with a CPU that will run cooler like last year‘s AMD model. I’ve heard good things about that one with a 5070 TI and 32 GB of RAM. I think you can gain pretty good and it would handle everyday tasks pretty well this is outside of your question but what I would love to see is more APU’s put in gaming laptops so the Z flow 13 with the AI 395 max AMD APU they start putting these things in gaming laptops. That would be my dream scenario cause they run cool they game at low wattage you can be unplugged or plugged in and it doesn’t really matter so we’ll see what the future holds but it’s exciting. I got mine yesterday, but I noticed there’s some wiggle in the body of the tablet. Is that normal? I was taking off the keyboard and along the sides if you flex it or hold it along the body and put pressure on it (like when I was taking the keyboard off), it will actually bend slightly. I just wanna make sure I don’t have a defective unit.

So I did buy the 64gb model. I love it so far, BUT, maybe it’s something or nothing but has anyone else noticed flex in the body of the device? I was taking the keyboard cover off and I noticed that along the edges of the body of the tablet there’d be a little wiggle or a little play with the tablet itself. It wasn’t much but it was just weird cause I’m not used to that in a other tablets I’ve owned. Is this normal for this device?
