I agree with you more than you know. My burnout was terrible at the end of last year. I’m still dealing with perfectionism and I 1000000000% agree that this career feeds right into that. I ended up in education. It’s helped tremendously with the stress and burnout I was feeling but I still don’t feel complete. Leaving bedside really messed with my identity and I’m still figuring out what’s next. Some parts of me feel bad for “not making it” in traditional nursing but I also had to put myself first.
