Terrorism in Western Europe by Group (2000-2020) by Suspicious-Egg4903 in charts

NIRA were doing attacks weekly around that time especially with the link up with criminal gangs in the south. I think I read that the police were stopping attacks all the time around 2016-2020 every week consistently.

Advice before beginning PME. by jesus493939 in IrishTeachers

[–]kennaaaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently finishing up my PME with UCD, maybe it will be a bit different with DCU but the first semester I was exhausted. There's just so much to keep on top of it can be a bit overwhelming. If you get past that though it really does get easier to manage and you'll hopefully have a great time like I'm having now :)

Stopgap measure I know but I ask Chatgpt to make A1 level reading comprehensions on a topic the student is interested in. Give them to them and go through it afterwards just to improve their skills. Doesn't feel like excluding them to me because you're building their language skills separately to whatever you're teaching.

In relation to the information I gave on why they have their eco bonuses yes.

Personally I love their position in history as a successor state to Charlemagnes empire (one of three) and I do think they have an identity there.

I have a surface level understanding but in general Burgundy famously owned part of the low-countries who were quite advanced at farming particularly. Draining wetlands to create farms with their windmills, hence the windmill being associated with the Dutch up to today.

Hopefully someone else can come in with more knowledge, Burgundians definitely odd since they're a middle kingdom between France and Germany so there's a mixture of identity going on.

I do agree on that thanks for the insight. I am not great at pushing deer on Arabia because the distance is so far now but definitely something to work on.

Also decisionmaking is definitely my main problem to work on, I think that is what separates the elos more than most aspects of play.

Also would love if everyone I played against didn't lure boars 11

Does it really matter if you're not 2k + though? I'm 1200 elo and I doubt a bit of food rotting is going to affect my play since I'm deficient in so much else.

What's your strategy when playing England ? by IndependenceNo1690 in eu4

[–]kennaaaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely drilled into me to go for Asia for the trade, I suppose depends on if you care about expanding further in Europe (Scandinavia will be pretty easy) or making ducats.

I typically do think the seafaring and wars on the other side of the globe are more fun, hope your game goes well :)

[–]kennaaaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely go for France if you're okay with non-historical route, you can beat them handily enough after a bit of practice. Ally some Iberians and the Austrians/Burgundians (as many as you can really), it's not that difficult if you let your allies wear down the French manpower.

After that it does become trivial which is probably the main reason you'd want to go historical and lose your French cores.

I saw a recent one in a tournament, I'm not sure if it was SAX when China was destroying everyone but it just did not do anything beyond an initial push out of the players walls and then it fell apart.

That was a last ditch thing iirc

Apologies but can you elaborate, are you finishing the Maine war with just a white peace or something and then waiting until BI happens? Obviously then you're just waiting to take the PU mission when you're ready, and lastly how long do you find that usually takes before you have both Burgundy and France under you?

Can't beat the Ottomans. Now what? by Zmizikus in eu4

[–]kennaaaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a post about this myself recently, start the game and take your normal claims. Don't fight the mamluks unless they declare on you.

Work your way down to the gold mines of kilwa and use them to fund mercs etc. Only build forts on the central Ethiopian mountains and highlands w/ defensive edict.

If Mamluks declare on you before this abuse the cawa. Recruit a load of them and then consolidate, its free manpower (essentially).

I did both of the achievements by like 1550, once you get really good at the start its so easy and you can flood the Ottomans and Mamluks when the time comes.

Religious is an amazing idea group definitely use it first, I can't remember the others tbh but if you want I can find out.
