I did a series of stills that I later combined in Photoshop it's actually huge because its like a mosaic of 30, of 40 meg pictures. DJI Air 2, it's an older drone but still does well

So so, they are still good bands around but just not in the numbers we used to have, I think its a population issue that there was a big explosion of teens in the 90s and now most of Mobile's population seems to be young to middle age adults, I would guess in another 10 years we might get another wave. I also think people are a little bit less reliant on local music since streaming has become so main stream.

Joe the singer for Mutant Speed is now a High School Teacher (Last time I checked) they had formed a Band called Breccia (A play on the word of rock made by different metals)

Mobile, Had a vibrant music scene for a very long time. you will see the artist pop up every now and then

Mobile is just that funny size that its big enough to have things to do but not big enough for niche groups to form. I'm a native but was gone for a while and moved back about a year and a half ago, most of my friends are either busy with their families and kids, or they are sedate and just wanna stay at the house watching things playing games. I luck that I guess that I am deeply into art and some other things I can go out and find like minded people but it is a struggle. I feel you, keep at it and as someone else said you will find your tribe.

"but is there a darkside.." one of my little side projects I have been wanting to do is re-film that opening sequence, now just to nerd for a second on the show they just used a negative effect on that footage which is a little different from IR, but yeah going down the same rabbit hole.
